When I click on Backup Now, it gives me the popup box, to select what I want to backup, then says requesting start of backup, where it sits for a couple of minutes, then disappears, with no error.
I’ve tried uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling, as well as clearing all the settings, but no improvement. There is no recent log available, after clearing the settings and trying to backup several times.
Also, I cannot delete previous backups from Existing Backups. I have managed to delete a backup (all files) via the file manager, though the backup still shows in the Existing Backups. When I click on delete it just does nothing.
There is plenty room on the server for new backups.
This is the error log:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Status still says “ok” and there are no errors. It just gets stuck I guess. Here is the log file for the job.

I tried the different settings for loading the store on page load, tried different max numbers, cleared WPSL transients, enabled Debugging and tested the compatibility mode. I even restarted the Server.
But to no positive result.
Any suggestions to fix this?
]]>Now I’ve used the original register-form.php from the TML plugin and deleted my theme-my-login-custom.php. But still no errors appears during a “wrong” (e.g. already existing email) registration. I only will be redirected to https://www.mypage.de/register?instance=1
@jfarthing84: Hi Jeff, I think a lot of people have the same problem. Most of them do not know, that they have this problem, because you see the issue only if you try to register someone with an existing email or with wrong or missing data.
Would be super cool, if you could have a look on it.
Thanks and best regards
MH
I have tested with Chrome, IE, Firefox, and Edge. I am totally baffled.
I log in as Administrator, but other authorized users have been Editors and have the same problem.
Any ideas how to solve this problem?
Many thanks!
]]>I download wp 4.5 expand it and try to follow the 5 minute install, but all that happens when I try to launch install.php is that it opens up in textwrangler…
Tried editing the sample config and saving as wp-config.php, but the same thing happens…
I know my limitations and am not very versed in this, but I think I followed the instructions properly…
Any help would be appreciated as I have been at it for hours…
I even created a new user with admin rights and tried to install under the new account, but no luck.
The site is using the most recent version of WordPress and all it’s plugins. I’ve tried deactivating plugins and removing any comment related code in the theme files including the body of comments.php to no avail. Even with WP_DEBUG set to true I’m not getting any sort of error generated or logged anywhere that I or my host can find.
Any idea what might be causing the page output to fail on comments_template.php?
]]>I’m using postie to aggregate email listserv messages. All the messages get dumped into a central email box and then are picked up by Postie, sorted by subject line and posted to WordPress. It’s a pretty elegant solution.
Unfortunately, without me noticing, Postie stopped working shortly after 12/16/14. Almost a month ago now (I was on vacation).
Of course I panicked and when I noticed and I’m looking for the problem, but I can’t find it. Postie seems to be able to connect to the IMAP account as you can see:
Connect to Mail Host
Successful IMAP-SSL connection on port 993
# of waiting messages: 27
But then nothing. I have a server-side chron job setup, and I have no reason to beleive that broke, but I’ve tried the “Checking for mail manually” and it appears to just hang. As I’m typing this it’s still just saying “Checking for mail manually.” Without an error message or some other information, I don’t even know where to look for the problem. Any help would be strongly appreciated.
I think I’m going to try to manually post all the old messages and clear the inbox. Not sure if that will fix anything (I doubt it), but at the very least I can get the content out to my audience.
