Where is the Right Widget Column – Where is the Theme Documentation?

I searched both here in this support forum, and on the Hello Elementor promo page and the Elementor website and could not find any workable information about this theme.

I could not find any documentation for it. There is no link on the main website, and just bits and pieces buried in various pages spread all over that really do not make a cohesive documentation of this theme.

So here are my questions:

No Right-side Widget Column?
I did notice in the WordPress Admin area, under “Appearance” there is no submenu item “Widgets”, which is really standard for any WordPress theme to include it.

Am I to interpret this as the Hello Elementor theme does not support any widgets and does not support a right or left side widget column?

No Documentation?
As stated above, I cannot find any documentation for this theme. I mean, really, Elementor is pretty big and there is zero documentation for this Hello Elementor theme?

Can you provide a link to its documentation please?

Polite Plus a MESS (save your money)

I’ve been using Polite Lite for several weeks, which I’ve generally liked, but (after much prompting by the devs) purchased Polite Plus for my birthday, as it was supposed to have much more customization, particularly of colors, which was important to me. I downloaded the theme, installed it and activated my site license, and dug into the Customizer: and the problems began.

First, THERE IS NO DOCUMENTATION AVAILABLE FOR THIS THEME. If you click on the button that’s supposed to take you to the User Manual, you get a dead link.

Second, if you need WooCommerce to work on your site, you should stay away from Polite Plus. When I was using Polite Lite, I could choose the number of columns on each page of my WooCommerce shop AND the number of items I wanted to display per page. I had 20 items per page with that theme; with Polite Plus, the Customizer preview shows that 20, but when you actually hit Publish it only shows you 5! There’s no option to change it anywhere, not even in some niche widget. (I have ~60 products on my site. I cannot expect customers to scroll through twelve pages of products, five at a time.)

Third, Polite Plus makes decisions about your title text for you. One of the big selling points for Polite Plus is the customizable typography, but no matter what font you choose, it will render a WooCommerce product heading correctly on the shop page (“Hi, my name is Eris” shows up as “Hi, my name is Eris”) but will capitalize the first letter of EVERY WORD when you click on the product page (“Hi, my name is Eris” becomes “Hi, My Name Is Eris”). This might be okay if you WANT to capitalize every word, but if you don’t, it’s a nightmare. (Again, Polite Lite does not do this.)

None of these shortcomings are things you could figure out by looking at their product page. What a disappointment–and a waste of $90 on a theme I cannot in good conscience use.

Poor documentation for the free version

I understand the need for income. The bit I don’t understand is why is the documentation not more explicit around what is actually offered in the free version.

The free version is essentially just a banner, nothing more. Script blocking etc doesn’t work, even though the option appears in the settings. This should be made way more obvious.

Hello, i have a theme that is not from thimpress that uses LearnPress

i have a problem, and is that the progress of the lessons doesn’t advance, i have read that the lessons should have a “complete lesson button”, but it doesn’t appear can you please explain me how i can add this button inside the content item so the users can progress in their lessons or ?How do i complete the lesson when press next?

This looked promising as a way to have some content (of our personal family site) public but the majority not, but that’s all it did was “look promising”. It doesn’t seem to have the features of enabling pages or posts to be excluded from the login requirement. Yes I saw the very brief FAQ, but again that didn’t actually explain. I read over the PHP and didn’t see how to get exclusions to work. There is no documentation either. I’m not new to WP but I’m not an expert who writes plugins or themes, so I need instructions that don’t act like I do or act like I knew the answer already. Also, why do the key features need to be answered in the FAQ about hopefully proving they actually exist? Seems to me like that should be visible and available by default. I haven’t just one starred it because I prefer to get help first, but wow this plugin is limited for early WP experience.

– It does not check the files already attached from “CF7”.
– It does not detect the required fields of attachments of “other plugins” such as “Drag & Drop Uploader”.
– I have not found documentation about this great plugin, so I have been slow to understand it, but in the end it was a waste of time …

Unfortunately it seems that the plugin is incompatible with version 4.9, because while it looks like it’s working initially, any projects made with it have no pages created for them, instead they appear in the projects directory, but when clicked on they take you to a 404.

The plugin has no clear documentation linked from it’s page and the website lacks documentation or even information for this specific plugin as well.

The plugin page also lacks any links to example pages or even images that showcase the plugin’s abilities.

errors in site title

The site title should have a / appended to the end of it. This is really bad and can cause mis-directions.

The demo on the theme site has the home site title link as

Further, the theme comes with very little to recommend it, no documentation or suggestions on how to set up the demo.
