I’m using your very flexible and nice theme ‘Simple life 2.4’. Everything works, besides that according to the WP 5.7.2 dashboard a new translation version should be available. (the message is only coming up using this theme without any plugin). Might be the case, because the only existing nl_NL .mo/.po files date from 2020-10-22. I made complete new ones thanks to poedit and the actual Simple life .pot file. But the message remains…
Tried both directories: /wp-content/themes/simple-life/languages and /wp-content\languages\themes (where should they be, by the way?)
What could I do better? What is my mistake?
Thanks and a nice day!
Bert

Question, I just updated WordPress from 4.4 to 4.4.1 and after that I ran a Wordfence scan. Even though I just updated seconds before, it tells me there is a file difference on wp-includes/version.php. The difference is that on my system there is an additional line added:
$wp_local_package = ‘nl_NL’;
This happens with every WP update, and every time I just tell Wordfence to restore the original version. That works just fine, everything remains Dutch. But then, with the next update it happens again.
How can this be if I just updated WP? Is there a wrong comparisson in WordFence?
Thanks
John-Pierre

Can you do the same for Dutch?

I’ve checked the modifications, but they seem harmless, more like a different ordering of the code. Can you tell me what this means and what I should do?

]]>This looks like a great theme, so it would be nice if this can be fixed. If I find more typos, I will report them as well.
]]>The .po file is downloadable from https://poeditor.com/projects/view?id=14871. From there, it’s also easily possible to translate the theme into any other language you desire!
