.
You might want to update your plugin to cover this case too …
]]>Sure enough it has. All thumbnails in galleries no longer link to their respective pages. And as many times as I hit ‘recreate URL’ in the settings (which has worked before) nothing changes.
The last update was over 3 years ago.
It is a sad day. I guess it’s time to give up the ghost and move on. I truly loved the simplicity of this plugin. My templates were all highly customized. The whole thing worked seamlessly. Now the seams are showing and it’s a tattered mess.
Buyer beware.

]]>There are 39 thumbnails on a page. Is that too many? If so, what’s the optimum number of images on a thumbnail page?
Should I optimize each image? What is the suggested size of an image? Is the max size of an image — say 1 MB for example? I have some image as large as 2.7 MB. Is that too big? Is that why the image load is very slow? (sometimes it never finish “loading”.)
Yes, it sometimes takes forever for a picture to show up on the screen –if you click on a thumbnail toward the bottom end of the thumbnail list (not Slideshow page, but “Picture list” thumbnail page)…never finish “loading”.
How do I remedy this? Is the image too big a file? What size is too big?
Thank you for your help.”

I have posted this message also in NextCellent Gallery forum as I am not sure where the problem lies.
In the server error log i do not get any messages.
I hope the information that i have provided is sufficient and that there is a solution to this as I love both plugins and rely on them.
Current workaround is to temporarily disable Social Semantic Recommendation (SOSERE)to add new galleries.
Thanks for your time.
