Clicking ‘Next’ in the calender doesn’t work

Hi there,

When you click Next the page won’t advance to the next week of events. In addition to this, clicking calendar view also doesn’t work.

Issue is, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s been on and off for a few days now. I’ve tried my phone, my laptop, my friend’s phone and it works intermittently.

I’ve seen some people say it might be clashing with some other plugins? I just installed the default plugins and don’t know what half of them are for so would be happy to delete some of them if that’s the issue.

Removing Previous/Next from Post

How can I remove the Previous/Next option from Posts in the Twenty Twenty-Four theme. I’ve tried some CSS tips found on Google Search using:

.post-navigation {
display: none;
}

But nothing works. Any help would be appreciated. I’ve tried placing this under customize.php and also on Site Edit->Styles->More Options->CSS What could I be doing wrong?

SUGGESTION: Perhaps a checkbox under Settings->Discussion might be nice to turn the Previous/Next off/on.

Previous/Next Links Missing on Pages and Posts

I’m using the TwentyFourteen?Theme and can’t for the life of me figure out how to toggle on the Previous/Next Links on single Pages and Posts. The TwentyFourteen?demo site [ https://twentyfourteendemo.wordpress.com/ ] clearly shows them. Is this achieved by CSS?

Why can’t I align the Next-button to the right?

Preload NEXT post in sequence

I’m developing a large scholastic bible reference website for a client that contains about 31,000 posts/verses. Each post has a lot of custom scripts to load, so navigating is slow for new pages but once the page is cached it’s almost instant. For example, each verse is a post, so navigating in order, the next verse loads slowly but the previous verse loads instantly. I’ve tried activation Preload feature (for all posts) but since there are so many posts I think it’s bogging down the server and doesn’t seem to help. Is there any way for a developer to custom code a feature to always Preload the NEXT post in the sequence?

Double next & previous button

Hi,

I’m making a form and the previous & next button appear double in the form, i also want to switch the buttons, so that the next button is above the previous button but i can’t seem to find a option for that.
Could someone please help me? The removal of the double button is the most important.

You can find the form at the “Vul de vragenlijst in” Button.

Hello

I’m using WordPress 6.5.5, Yoast 23.0 and for the theme, Extra 4.26.1.

In a category, when I go to the last page of the category, I can find a rel=”next” to a next page which doesn’t exist.

Page 6 is the last page of this category.

I don’t want to have this one on page 6:

How can I solve it?

No next and back arrows in galleries

All my image galleries have just lost the next and back arrows but they do enlarge on click. The images in the editor are set to link to image file. According to a post dated 4 weeks ago, another user was advised to: If you want the plugin to behave as it did before, and detect only images explicitly set to open media files, then go to Lightbox > Images, and look for the “Apply to” settings, and change it from “All Images” to “All Image Links”. Problem is I can change the setting to “All Image Links” but when saving, it reverts back to “All Images”. I have the “Show the gallery navigation arrows” ticked.

Prev/next links

Hello,

I have not found references on this problem.
I am developing a website on a local server and in the archive pages, with pagination and designed with a loop, Yoast writes the prev and next links repeating the URL. Logically it generates 404 type errors.
In the screenshot you can see how it correctly generates the canonical link, and how it generates erroneous links for prev and next.
