RSS newsfeed intallation

Kindly explain the manner in which i can install the RSS in my weblog, so that the users can subscribe to the newsfeed of various other blog networks. e.g. Bloglines, Technorati, newsgator, yahoo, google, etc.

RSS Feed Subscriptions not working

I recently placed rss subscription buttons (eg. newsgator, my yahoo, technorati, bloglines, etc)on my side nav and most of them do not work. When I try subscribing, I get the following types of messages:
My yahoo – We couldn’t find the RSS file you asked for

bloglines – No feeds were found. Please verify that the website publishes an RSS feed.

rojo- no feeds found

technorati, my google, google, bogablog all work fine

When I when to the feed url: it asked for a password

When I used feedvalidator, I got the following:
Server returned HTTP Error 401: Authorization Required
HTTP Error Explanation: Your feed couldn’t be validated because there was a problem downloading it from the web server. This usually means that the URL was wrong, or that permissions on the server don’t allow us to fetch that file. The error shows the message that the server sent, which may help.

NewsGator spam

Hello,

Can anyone tell me exactly what NewsGator is? I’ve been getting a slew of requests from it over the past several days – it behaves very rudely, hammering my blog with multiple requests over the course of a few seconds and repeatedly requesting the same pages. I blocked it once, and now it’s returned from a different IP address. I’m probably going to block it again, but is there a more effective way to get it to throttle back or lay off altogether?

How do I install Newsgator.com feeds ?

Hi,

I have just set up a weblog but using WordPress through a Lycos hosting package.

Any help in how I go about this would be appreciated.

My concern also is that it seems I may not be able to incorporate Newsgator into the pages when it seems there is limited way of modifying WordPress in Lycos?

i would love to have a newsgator plugin that can post to wordpress directly from outlook using keywords and categories… is there maybe another plugin that can do this? thankful for any help! lauschender
