However, the ‘wordpress users’ list isn’t an option for automations (I cannot select this mailing list because its not visible on within the available options). Is there any way to automatically email new wordpress users when they join using mailpoet (with a delayed send).

I’m stressing out about Feedburner and Feeds… I’ve searched on Google and this forum for answers and have just been left saying, “… huh?” I’m very new to WordPress, self-hosting, feeds, and having my own domain, so I’m sorry if I’m a bit slow and unseasoned.

I can’t get Feedburner to work, and I’ve learned you have to have a working feed.

This comes up on Feedburner: “The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 41: Attribute name “async” associated with an element type “script” must be followed by the ‘ = ‘ character.”

And this comes up when I type in what I THINK should be my site’s feed (ditchingadulthood.com/feed): “This page contains the following errors:

error on line 41 at column 22: Specification mandate value for attribute async
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.”

I have no clue what any of this means. I know how to get to my .php pages and what not, but I don’t know where to go from there, or if that’s the issue. Help!

My web building experience involves HTML, Kompozer and WinSCP, but I have access to all the PHP files, but not the admin user info (logon and password). I am new to working with PHP and WordPress, but have Drupal and WordPress 3.6.1 installed and FTP access to the web host.

What is the best way to go about gaining admin access (previous admin info is unavailable) and editing the website? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There is a widget that was included in the page that was working fine yesterday and this morning, but now it is not showing up.

Please note that I’m not sure what widget was used to create the sliding numbers that are no longer visible. I have been given this project after the previous designer was let go.

I am just now learning how to use it so I have a long way to go. I am trying to figure out how to add a logo to the side bar somehow but have not figured that out yet.
