I’m moving my subscribers from one PMPro website to another also using PMPro. I’ve created my CSV. I did one test import and a user will receive an email to reset their password (from a temp password) and an email from MailPoet to confirm subscription (for emails). These members already accepted a TOS from the original website. I’m wondering if there’s a way to force an acceptance of the TOS of the new website?

One other question, I was told for recurring subscriptions to set the membership_enddate to “never”, but it gives me an error importing this way, and instead I left the field blank on the CSV for recurring subscriptions and it seems to import fine on a test, but I haven’t redirected the IPN to the new website yet. Does that sound correct?

Migrating PMPro Subscription Level

?I’ve been using PMPro on my subscription?website for years. I’m moving to a new website and moving my subscribers. My current subscribers will be grandfathered in at the current $50 rate, but new subscribers will be at $69.95. I set up a membership level for my current subscribers called, “Legacy”. I’m just not sure if I’ve set up the billing right for these subscribers that will be transferred. I have the level set as “$0 now” and $50 a month thereafter. These people already have current subscriptions with me and I don’t want to interrupt them. I’ll be moving my Paypal payment?gateway to the new site when I transfer them. Am I setting this subscriber level correctly considering the migration and payment gateway move? Thanks!

Creating new wordpress site while former one stays online

Hi everyone,

I am currently working as a temporary community manager for a non-profit organization. Their current www.remarpro.com website (hosted on OVH) is outdated and they cannot update it on their own.

I am just getting started with WordPress and I would like to create a new website using a template like Blocksy (they need something very simple to edit since I won’t be around to update it after the end of my mission). How do I create a new website while the other one is online ? I read that I should either create a new subdomain and host my new website there or download WordPress locally. What would be the best course of action ? I would like the migration to be as simple as possible when the new website is done.

Best suited theme for professional large-quantity product sale

We are currently looking at designing a brand new WordPress website and thus are in need of a theme, which meets the following requirements:

– suited to sell clothing items online
– able to install a product designer so customers can create and design their own print on those clothing items
– able to run webshop/Woocommerce
– able to install plugins for online card payments
– sports highly flexible and customizable design options
– most importantly –> the theme needs to have the option to display at least two or more clothing brands separately in a nice and presentable manner as well as enable the wholesale of large-quantity orders (ie. batches of 10 – 20 – 50 – 100 etc. at a time)

We have looked at the following theme site https://themeforest.net/category/wordpress but am unsure as to which theme meets the above mentioned requirements best and am in doubt, whether we should search for a theme under for instance the “eCommerce” or “Retail” categories etc.

Could the good people of this forum enlighten us?

Moving Paypal Subscriptions From One Site To Another

I have a subscription website using PMPro (Version 2.12.1), but I’ve created a new website to replace the current one as soon as I can migrate my current subscribers. I need to move my current subscribers (Paypal Express) from the current site to the new one. I’ve created a legacy level for these current subscribers in PMPro. I asked Paypal for guidance on moving current subscribers to the new website and this was the answer I received,

”? we do not have the ability to take the data and migrate it to the new site.? You will want to have your customers’ sign up on the new site and then remove them from the old site”

I don’t have so many subscribers that I can’t do it manually (w/o CSV), but I’m concerned that if I create a new Paypal IPN URL for the new site, my current subscribers’ subscriptions may be lost, or they may not able to access their PMpro account details from the new site. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

I’m looking for a tutorial to help me to organise all the new URLs after the redesign of a website. I think there is something like exporting the url from the old website, then adding the new url to the file, and after that, importing the new file?But I don’t know exactly how to.

I saw the documentation about importing and exporting, but it does not answer my question. Do you know where I can find a tutorial for that please? I think it is something that a lot of people need to do, so it must be a tutorial somewhere?

In connection with connecting jetpack via mailchimp on my original website: Https://tinyflowerstudio.dk, Jetpack automatically connects to another email address, where I suddenly get directed to a new site with the same content, i.e. a copied website with same domain but on https://wordpress.com/me – but I have an original website with the domain https://tinyflowerstudio.dk – where the host is on Simply.com.

Can I delete everything on the copied website located at https://wordpress.com/me without deleting my original website at tinyflowerstudio.dk? or what should I do because I’m desperate to fix this problem jetpack has created
