thanks to Jetpack teams
]]>I have followed the guidance, as explained in this link, when??presenting a custom Group Home Page (on the Main Site) .
So we create a template file front-slug-{group-slug}.php for the Group Home Page
& that template is put in this folder: the child theme—>buddypress—>groups—>single—>front-slug-{group-slug}.php
So far so good.
So for a Group called “Rugby” in Groups on the Main Site (https://mysite.com)??the folder/file structure is:??child theme—>buddypress—>groups—>single—>front-slug-rugby
All good & the template is reproduced on the front end
Now…. for the other Sites/Networks
If we have a Group of the same name “Rugby” in say a second site or Network??https://france.mysite.com how do we manage the template address as child theme—>buddypress—>groups—>single—>front-slug.group-slug.php won’t do as it will just return the previous result (of the first site)
Yes you could require unique names for each group irrespective of site but its not ideal.
Any workaround on this much appreciated
]]>is it planed to support networks in WordPress? Currently if I enable the plugin network wide, I still have to configure the plugin on each site.
Thanks!
Bye,
Dennis
Are any way to change the Social Networks Share Buttons? I want to include the logos with my colors.
Thank you!
]]>I’ve upgraded to version 6.1 today. Since that upgrade, if I build a new page that includes some PHP (I do this using Will Bontrager’s Insert PHP plugin), if my PHP contains any “functions”, I get a fatal error like this:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare cleanup() ...
In this example, my first PHP function happens to be called “cleanup”.
The error is specifically caused by the Jetpack “Sharing” feature called:
Automatically share your posts to social networks.
When this feature is on, the fatal error occurs. When this feature is turned off. The fatal error is gone.
]]>I wanted to request support for streamers who use Mixer, in addition or as an alternative to Twitch. Given Microsoft’s purchase of the Beam network, their rapid growth, and their hunt for more partners right now, it’s a platform a lot of us who work professionally in streaming are moving to, and it would be great to include those numbers in our social counts.
Thank you! I really love this plug-in. And sorry again for posting here.
]]>However, that is the reason I chose a different plugin for a different site: They wanted pInterest and Google+ as well (which is the reason for the 4 stars rather than 5).
I would like it to include pInterest and Google+ for free OR I don’t mind purchasing the Networks add-on and am fine with it including one year of support, but I want lifetime (of the product) updates. I don’t want to pay €39/$44 USD per year for updates. Of course, I do not work for free either and I understand that you need to make money, so this is certainly not a criticism but rather a wishlist item.
Anyway, nice work on a quality plugin! I will use it on sites where it fits.
(Side note: It’s kind of weird to me that you have to pay to make it responsive, but that’s your barbecue. It’s not my business, €339 per year for all addons seems high to me – I mean, for comparison, Elegant Themes charges $249/€220 one-time with lifetime updates, and it includes Monarch. Just sayin’.)
