The latest update to ver. 7.3.8 no longer works for me. The Plugin “sees” my library and also allows you to select the collection and tags, but when I recall it, it shows an eternal gear that turns and turns without showing anything. I even tried a downgrade, but apparently that doesn’t work either.

My server memory settings are very high, and I don’t think that’s the problem here.

What could have happened? I love this plugin and it has never given me any problems before.

CwCura?ao.js not “zippable”

Since I last updated, there has been an added file called “CwCura?ao.js” under the Flag directory. “?” prevents windows from zipping the file. There are various reasons why someone may zip the contents of their website, some very critical in terms of web hosting. Is this file able to be renamed without breaking a website?

Name of file different when downloading

All – unsure if this is a PDF issue or a download issue. The file was uploaded with the name Broward-TDSP-May-2023.pdf. However, when the file is downloaded, the file then reads “TDSP_2023_C.” Is there a naming issue I am missing? The media has been renamed before uploading the plug-in; why is it showing this name and how do I fix it? Thank you so much!

I guess a PDF can have two names. Wild.

Disable “Core” Blocks?

I see with the latest version of Spectra certain blocks can no longer be disabled. I prefer a minimalist approach and typically only enable blocks that I actually need. My biggest concern is the “Image” block. My clients have been using the WP image block and the introduction of a new block with the same name is going to create confusion and I don’t want them to mistakenly insert a Spectra image block. Never mind you now require a half dozen other blocks…I’m sure you have your reasons, but at the very least, please call your block something else. Same goes for your “Heading” block. It’s just bad practice to use the same name as a WP core block.

So I have a custom post type called Resources, and the site is set up to show content under there as:
https://siteexample.com/resources/resource-title-goes-here

Straightforward, works fine.

I also have a page:
https://siteexample.com/video-library

What the client wants is for video-library to have the URL:
https://siteexample.com/resources/videolibrary

Is there a good way to spoof this so that I can make /resources/ handle loading of other pages?

Understanding the zip file names

Hi,
I’d like to keep 2 months worth of monthly backups. In the job settings in the “To folder” tab, I can choose the maximum number of files in the folder. Is this how I keep 2 months worth of backups? If so, how do I interpret “number of files”? I see these files, for instance in my backups:

For June, there is one file, but for May and April there are multiple files and I suspect, by the timestamp and hash that these zip files are related. If I say “2 files” to be kept in the folder to represent 2 months, would that work or would I just get partial backups in a multi-part zip backup?

About once every 2 weeks I get an alert from Jetpack saying: Is writersinitiative.com the new home of writersinitiative.com

Then it requests to migrate stats and subscribers from the website name to the exactly same name or to put jetpack into safe mode.

Is there a way to resolve this is issue?
