not “free” and I don’t like being nagged for payment

I liked the theme, but I can’t handle “Hi there, you’ve been using Fairy for quite a while now” first thing at the top of my dashboard every time I log in.

Support says that the message can be removed, but they don’t say how. I asked twice before giving up and changing my review.

I had been happy with Fairy but now I have to start over again shopping for a theme, and customizing, so it turned out to be nothing but a waste of time.

So I was looking at a backup solution for my website and thought I would give this a go as I have used it in the past. But my goodness it has changed so much and not for the better!

It’s now full of useless features that most would not use and its super expensive. I am still to find where I can backup my website for free using this program? But it seems I have to pay for this privilege? If so then it should be mentioned in the description as deceiving people is not a good business practice. Furthermore who can afford all these subscriptions and the amount of money you asking for each module?

This is one to avoid in my opinion unless you like wasting time looking around for things and you are rich like Bill Gates.

Yeap, they’re suddenly charging for what was free. I just uninstalled it. If I’m going to have to pay to have posts automatically shared on social media, I’ll look for a better plugin.

This is Nagware with constant advertising on each and every page at the backend. Now looking for an alternative, but just want to warn others against this poorly made plugin and practice.

Intrusive, annoying and where is support?

I installed this plugin some time ago for a client. The plugin does the job it sets out to do. BUT every time I login there is a SUPER annoying update nag banner at the top of EVERY screen in the dashboard: “Attention: There is an update available of NextMove Lite – Thank You Page for WooCommerce plugin.”

I know – just update the plugin, right? Sometimes that’s not feasible – and these notifications are driving me bonkers. WordPress does an amazing job of SUBTLY letting me know there are updates available with colored notifications. Thank you WordPress.

Another user complained about this 10 months ago and I followed up 6 months ago with a solution that the developer could easily implement. No word from the developer.

I know I can hide these notifications with CSS but that hides ALL notifications. And dismissing the notifications dismisses it until I reload the page or navigate somewhere else in the dashboard…and it’s BACK.

If the developer were to fix this, I would gladly revise my rating.

Don’t waste your time with YITH plugins

Free version is useless – all you get is the ability to hide the default sale badge. Seriously. That’s it. And strong nudges to go spend $69/year for this trivial plugin.

Looked at another one of YITH’s plugins. Yup. Total cash grab.

Could not uninstall quickly enough.
