]]>how we can configure the Mysql database on a windows server with high availability
]]>But in this case, I noticed a problem. My site’s mySQL database has been growing abnormally since I installed this plugin.
For example, I have installed this plugin on my site on 2/2/21.
This has increased the speed of my site a lot but with the installation of this plugin, the size of my mySQL database is suddenly abnormally increasing day by day.
I’ve done a lot of analysis. In PHPMyAdmin I saw the size of my postmeta database is increasing.
On 2/2/21 the size of my database was 4GB. Now it has increased to 10.2 GB. But since 2/21/21 no many posts have been publisher.
I have benefited a lot from using this plugin as well as other alternative cache plugins. So I don’t want to deactivate this plugin. Please help me.
]]>I currently have over 300,000 products. The solution may not be to use a plugin, rather “directly” import records to the database.
Looking for someone who has solved this issue before.
Thank you,
Greg Carter
I have been building and tweaking my first ever WordPress site for the last few months, and am tempted to do some image housekeeping (read:deletion). Should I clean house? I have noticed what seems to be a lot of duplicate image content in the database (or more specifically, //wp-content/uploads/2018/05,06,…,08)
I’m looking to improve my site any way I can: a smaller db, quicker load times, optimization, better SEO… and just plain good housekeeping. I’m tempted to delete what seems to be some overlapping content. For example, in the May 2018 folder, I have 4 variations of “Splash-wood-Cropped-1-1024×683.jpeg, the other 3 with different dimensions suffixes. I realize these are all different files but (AFAIK) my site uses only one of these. Also, the Media Library only shows one instance of ” “Splash-wood-Cropped-1”. And so I’m puzzled…
On a related note, can I safely punt images with older dates if the same file appears in a newer folder? Maybe a dumb question but this newbie is not familiar enough with databases to make any safe assumptions.
I suppose I could just take a full backup and hack away, but would rather first just get an informed opinion here. Thanks in advance!
]]>When a form is submitted, the data can easily be submitted to a Mysql database by modifiying the *_insert_in_database.php file. I believe this feature is only available with the paid versions, which for what you get is a huge bargain.
My question is, is there a way to have multiple forms, with different information, submit form data to the mysql database via this same *insert_in_database.php file?
Thank You – John
]]>It worked until processed an order. I then deleted the Coupon/Plugin, reinstalled it, and tested it with another account, which had not made an order yet. Whenever I now head into the Basket/Cart,I get a message saying ‘Coupon already applied’, even though the newly created Coupon code has yet to be used.
Maybe the Coupon code is being stored in the Database. To test this possibility, how do I delete all reference/data regarding previously created Coupon codes within the MySql Database? I went into wp_posts
but could not find anything. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place.
I have lost access to my WordPress site at www.malamahalawa.org
I have a site hosted at Arvixe with C-Panel access to routine maintenance tasks. It is running MySQL version 5.5.44-37.3. My site was hacked and the password changed by a jerk named Ahmed in Tunisia four days ago. Not kidding.
I had been running five MySQL databases and lost access to all of them, although the files were still there. I was able to regain use of two of them – including a WordPress installation – by restoring the site from a point a week earlier. Two others were Piwigo image galleries on sub domains and I have re-installed and re-populated them.
I made the www.malamahalawa.org site for a non-profit I work with, and created a place for it as a sub-domain on my own site (www.janbecket.net). C-Panel at Arvixe does not recognize or list it as an existing MySQL database, and the MySQL utility on C-Panel does not list it either (although the restore utility did recognize it and supposedly restored it back to a point a week ago). The WordPress files are all there – I think – and everything appears intact. I get the error message “error establishing a database connection” when I try to go to the site, however.
I found the WordPress config file in C-Panel but do not know enough to make sense of it. Help much appreciated.
]]>When I downloaded WordPress through Microsoft Web Platform Installer, it did not automatically download Microsoft Webmatrix, so my database did not open in Webmatrix, as it says it will in Step 7.
Now I can’t find my MySQL database, and I can’t figure out how to configure my MySQL settings in Webmatrix in order to complete the final steps. Any ideas on how I can pull it into Webmatrix or at least get my WordPress running?
Thanks!
