Mybb forum and wordpress in the same database

Our primary site is a mybb forum which is located at the home directory. Now for member’s help and support we are looking to install a blog along with it (in /blog directory).

Now the problem is that, currently our hosting package doesn’t allow us two databases. And the forum isn’t making much money so we won’t be able to move the site to a new host until next year.

So, for the time being we were hoping that maybe we can install wordpress along with mybb in the same database (for now). And split it in the future whenever we can. The blog database size will not be an issue because it will only get an article published once in every month or so.

Will it be required to use same Database for both WordPress and MyBB or required to create 2 database which are separate for WordPress and MyBB?

Exclude a folder (subdomain) from .htaccess

Hello!
My .htaccess work flawlessly without one error – my and my readers can’t access my subdomain with forum. After few minutes I figured out what is causing a problem, that’s “Advanced Character String Filter”. When this option is enabled I can’t access forum, but when it’s disabled – no problem at all with forum, but then I’ve about 20 lockouts over night. How to make an exception or something?
My forum is in the root category of WordPress (public html) and is based on mybb engine.
It’s adress is forum.xxxxxxx.com

Hello. Im using WordPress 4.4.2 and MyBB 1.8.
Forum widget works fin, i can see related threads, but cross posting doesnt work.
When im posting something on WP, it shows error: (MyBBXPCrossPoster.php:301) Unable to login

Im sure my myBB account login and pass are correct.
How to fix this?

I was wondering if this works in the opposite way as well? I want to let approved forum members make a post in a specific forum within my forum and when they do I want it to show up on my homepage as a blog post. Can it do this?
