Honestly, this is the only sane way of writing CSS inside WordPress, making the experience as good as coding on your computer in a proper editor. I don’t understand why this doesn’t have thousands of downloads. It’s been a massive game-changer at our agency, allowing people at all levels to start learning and using SASS.

A couple of things that could improve on this:

Support for multiple files, so we could use SASS partials.
An improved live editor, which feels a little rudimentary. For example, offer an option to align the editor underneath the preview pane, and add buttons to resize the preview pane (similar to customizer) for testing responsive design.

But anyway, soooo much gratitude. If you need more support to keep developing this, we’d be completely behind paying for a pro version, as long as there’s developer option for unlimited sites, because Instant CSS is basically part of our WordPress Core here now

I’ve always had such a respect for the guys who managed to install a CDN like AWS.
Today, I found this plugin, installed it, followed the step by step instructions, and voilà! After 1.5 hours of discoveries, my site which had loading times of 2-4 seconds at home in Europe, and about 6-18s in Asia or South America, loads within 1.35s-2.4s now. That’s a huge boost.

If you’re running a webstore from xml feeds, you can rely on WooCommerce Add-On Pro. They have an awesome support team to keep things going without effort. You won’t ever feel as if no one is listening, or get only “speak to your server team” replies, which we all are so sick of. They actually look deeper from their end too, which is a huge relieve.

When it comes to functions – I have never been disappointed. Each and everytime WP All Import support provides me with the necessary functions.

Plugins for photos – suggestions

I am helping start a volunteer site (of course!) to chronicle the history of show Dachshunds in the US. It is very list-content heavy. We would like to include pictures where we can, as many of the old pictures need to be digitized before they are lost forever. I am also working with a lot of people who are older (our hardest worker bees are in the 60-70 year range) and new to WP–but they are giving it their best shot! I know just enough to be dangerous, so I am hoping to find a clean interface that is fairly easy to work with and easy to teach.

I have literally spent hours and hours trying to find a good plugin for pictures…I’ve alternately had no luck or found myself confused! So, I am turning to y’all for suggestions, as I have a full time job, 9 dogs, small children and a husband. LOL!

Ideally, it would be a plugin that would have a picture pop up (lightbox style?) when you mouse over the name of the dog. Or, a thumbnail version next to the dogs’ names that would pop up similarly.

I’m also envisioning some kind of rotating slideshow of those pictures on the front page. We are not just looking for free plugins….we are willing to look at those with license fees.

While I am asking, if anyone knows of any good pedigree plugin, I would be grateful….or even just a site that has gathered a list of must-have plugins for WP!

Once this is up and running, I am certain we will get donations from other Dachshund people to keep it going and be able to generously support WP and further support those folks who have developed the plugins we use.

im sure this is a common and annoying topic to keep seeing but i did search the forums and google and while they are helpful the information i get is fairly dated. many time the plugin in question has been implemented into WP already or the link has gone dead. so please bear with me

here is the scenario:
