I use this plugin on my WordPress multisite, and migrate few standalone WordPress site into one multisite…the plugin functioning beautifully. I try many ways, but none of them working. It is easy to use.

I had to migrate 13 sites out of a multisite. This plugin made the whole job easy. With the pro version you can migrate from an export URL which means no more packaging, downloading and uploading which saves your life if you’re on a slow connection or moving.

The customer support for the plugin was also great when I ran into issues moving three of those sites. They patched the problem the same day and I was able to continue work. I highly recommend this plugin, simplest and easiest to use migration plugin that I have used (and I’ve used a lot :).

I tried a couple of times to manually migrate a couple WordPress multisite installations (each with 35 sites) and failed. Migrate Guru not only successfully migrated the multisite installations but didn’t require any manual intervention afterward. For me, using “Other Hosts” and manual setup, got the migration done.

Added another result:
A hosting provider changed their system and turned my site into an intermittent disaster. Migrate Guru took several attempts but succeeded!!!

I needed an easy way to migrate single sites to a WordPress multisite network. Prime Mover is the BOMB!

I had some issues (low space on the single site hosting platform) but support was great with catching the issue, and that was on a Sunday.

If you need to migrate a site, even something as complex as single site to multisite, I HIGHLY recommend this plugin.

Greetings, I’m trying to migrate a wordpress subsite from a multisite installation to a single one. The backup is generated with no problems, all the files are there. When I try to immport that backup into the new installation I get this error:

“Database backup file is missing. Unable to import database”. The database.sql file exist in the uploads folder.

Hello, Im moving from Shared to VPS and from Cpanel to Plesk. I have multisite enabled but since I don’t have root on my shared, I can not just simply migrate my full site from cpanel to Pleask. To cut question short, if I remove my site from Multisite back to single site, what happens to the other subdomain sites I currently have on multisite?..Will I still have access to them directly via mysub.mydomain.com/wp-admin or does WP remove all data since its wildcarded?..I have Multisite enabled and MultiSite Clone Duplicator, my file manager does not show a directory for each cloned site…Thank You
