Apologies if this needs posting in a different forum, happy to move if so…

I work for a company that hosts 100’s of WordPress sites across multiple Linux servers – each instance can, and fairly frequently does, have a different combo of themes and plugins. This can make the upgrades (core, themes, plugins) and maintenance a nightmare. I’m pondering two solutions:

Would Azure devOps be a good solution for this for continual integration (CI) and continual deployment (CD) ? The effort seems to outweigh the advantage in terms of the setup: a separate repository for every instance for the minimal files that change.
A bash script to traverse each server and upgrade each WordPress dir using the WP CLI commands.

several aql blocks in same page with meta key and aditional post type

Let me explain my scenario with your plugin and i hope you could help me in any way.

I have a page with four sections of mixed featured posts and pages each one. I have created a custom field with acf, share by pages and posts, to make possible show that mixed of content in each, with five posible values (none, value1, value2, value3, value4).

I’ve used four AQL block to make the queries as follow:
SETTINGS – Content type: page, Order by: Newer to older, Filters: none
ADVANCED QUERY SETTINGS – Additional Post Types: Post, Post Per Page: 4, Post Order By: Date, Post Meta Query – Meta Key: _xty_featured_in, Meta Value: value1 (in first block), value2 (in second block), and so on…, Meta compare: “=” (I’ve tried with “IN” and same happened)

In the backend editor everything is fine, and works as I expected. But not
in the frontend. First section shows correct mixed pages and post, but next sections don’t work well, only shows posts, but not pages.

I’ve tried the reversed option with Content type: Post and Additional Post Types: Page, but the same result

I’ve tried with two sections only, and the same is happened.

Is there a limit in queries in the same page (or post) for making this working well?

It was not supported on Zeever theme and the social share buttons was spread all over the post content multiple instances of social share buttons was displayed and there was no other option to fix it.

AQL using additional post types breaks other AQL

On my homepage, I am using three AQLs. The first one is using the additional post type functionality, while the others are not. For some reason, using this functionality on the first AQL causes the second AQL to show the wrong post type – but only on the front end. The second AQL previews the correct post type on the back end. The third AQL shows the correct post type on both front and back end.

If I remove the additional post types on the first AQL, the second then shows the correct post type on the front end. I tried deleting the second AQL – in case it was corrupted – and recreating it. The problem is still the same.

The post type used in the second AQL is the same as one of the additional post types added to the first. The third AQL uses a post type that is not used at all in the first or second. BUT – I tried deleting the additional post type from the first that matched the one selected in the second, and that did not fix it. The second only works properly when I delete ALL of the additional post types in the first.

Finally, I tried swapping the order of the second and third AQL on the page, and that had no effect.

WP Statistics with load balancer

I’m using your plugin on my website. I have 2 instances connected to the same DB in AWS Lightsail and a load balancer attached to them.

After creating my load balancer successfully, I think the plugin began to act strange. Is it possible the stats shown are just for 1 individual instance instead of all together? If that’s the case, how can I obtain stats for both instances?

Multiple Instances on one Page

Good afternoon!

I am finishing my wifes website at present (excuse the current content!) and I am hoping to display two instances of opening hours:

1. For home treatment visits
2. For home studio visits

My question is, on the setting page I would like to make 2x lists of opening hours OR be able to differentiate between which hours (morning or afternoon) are available for which services.

Any advice would be great!

I’m using Lite, almost pulled the trigger on premium version but I discovered an Accessibility conflict when more than one instance of a form is found on the same page.

I use the form as a CTA near the top of my page and again near the bottom.

Webaim reports individual errors of ‘Multiple Form Labels’ for each field field label.

Is there a way to adhere to WCAG 2 A/AA standards using multiple instances of a WPForms Form (without having to create two different but identical forms for top and for bottom of page)?

Wordfence on Multi Networks

Hello,

We have a multi-network installation of WP which has seven (7) different WP multisite networks configured and each multisite network has a different qty of subsites.

Using the plugin WP Multi Networks, all created networks still run using the same WP installation and the same plugins and themes; however, plugins activated at a network level are only active for all the sites on that particular network.

So in our case we would need to activate Wordfence on each of the (7) networks.

HOWEVER, because the code base is the same for all the networks, there is no need for it to run scans of the same codebase seven different times.

It seems that we would be adequately protected by having Wordfence configured and running scans on only the Main network.

Then in order for Wordfence to monitor code execution on the other six networks it seems we would need Wordfence activated on each network BUT with scanning disabled.

What are the settings we need to configure in order to disable scanning but preserve code execution monitoring on the six additional networks?

Multiple shortcode instances using different tags filters

HI! What would the [woof] and [woof_products] shortcodes look like if I first wanted to display and filter by tag1,tag2,tag3 , then display and filter by tag4,tag5,tag6 ? I tried using [products_tag] in the shortcode with no success. The first three tags represent Channel Providers and the next three tags represent various Channels offered by that Provider. Thanks!
