Create a multiple category selection tool

I want to develop a multicategory search, like it’s done on this site:

There is a taglist, where you can choose within the tags, add more tags to the list and the articles which are related to both, or more tags are shown.

I want to enable the same feature for wordpress. I tried to use the multicategory selection plugin, but it’s not working for me and my manners.

I tried to figure out how this feature is developed, but it wasn’t possible for me to see how it’s working, or on which system this was built. I only recognised, that the URL is changing when you add something to the list like:

https://xy.com/cat1+cat2+cat3

Well, my opinion in developing such a feature is, first to display the categories and then adding the functionality via jQuery or something, but I’d like to know if this is the right starting point or I’m getting into trouble.

Any thoughts on this are welcome!

3.1.3 Breaks Media Gallery – No Media Attachments Found

The media gallery no longer shows any content, I can see that there is content in there by the textual links at the top:-

All(272) | Images(196) | Unattached(25)

but in the list of files it states ‘No media attachments found’

I disabled all my plug ins one by one and can confirm the problem is caused by this plug in.

Anyone know where I can download version 3.1.2 so I can downgrade?

When I select a language different from primary language site’s, multiple category does bug.
