Thanks for any help,
ammtar
I notice on the www.remarpro.com site and lots of other sites have multiple background images (for header, content area, footer, etc.) I would love it if there were an easy way to do this. I can’t seem to figure one out.
I am using Weaver II Pro Theme. Thanks in advance.
]]>I want to have background image at the top and a background image at the bottom – clearly it is there but the CSS only recognise the one background command?

Probably very simple, might not be??
]]>Basically I have stumbled into a slight problem, one which I have no clue how to resolve.
Basically, I would like to have a different background image for the 6 pages that I have. Each of those pages has a sub navigation, that will use the same background image as the parent.
Now, plugins that I have already looked at, seem to add random background rotations and other effects, but none seem to display a unique image on a per page basis. I was hopping to find something similar to Dynamic Headers but for background images, so far no such luck.
Does anyone know of any plugins or techniques to achieve this? I am more of a designer than programmer, so please bare that in mind.
Here is the site:
www.coveringtherind.com
On my secondary sidebar–the dark leather behind the blogroll– I have a background image that repeats the length of the element. However, I also have a small sliver image positioned at the top of the element to make it look like the leather is torn at the top. I’ve done this using the CSS3 property of multiple background images:
background: url(https://www.coveringtherind.com/images/sidebartop.jpg) top right no-repeat,
url(https://www.coveringtherind.com/images/sidebar2.jpg) top left repeat-y;
However, Internet Explorer doesn’t support this feature, and I’m sure there are other browsers that don’t either. What happens when the code isn’t supported is that neither of the images show up at all, making the white text unreadable. Is there any way I can place a fix in the code to disable one of the background images if the browser doesn’t support this CSS feature? Or is there a better way of adding this small image element in between the main sidebar and secondary sidebar? I could do this by creating a new div and positioning it in between the element in HTML but I am totally clueless with PHP. I am using the Thematic framework and the Early Morning theme as a foundation, if that helps.
Much appreciated.

Any suggestions?
Thank you in advanced
]]>.post {
padding-left: 8px;
padding-bottom: 90px;
padding-right: 8px;
padding-top: 20px;
background-image: url(bottomstripes.png), url(top_left.png), url(top_right.png), url(bottomleft.png);
background-position: right bottom, left top, right top, left bottom;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
border-left-style: none;
border-bottom-style: none;
border-right-style: none;
border-top-style: none;
margin-left: -10px;
margin-bottom: 20px;
background-color: #c7c7c7;
And it shows up without the background images in Firefox. It shows up with the bg images in Safari. Validation says there’s too many bg images, but I am not sure how to fix this, especially since it works in Safari.
