I’m using this plugin for quite some time now. I’m experiencing an issue when I try to preview (without saving draft) a post before I publish. When I preview the post, the selected author and selected author url appears correctly. But when I try to publish the post after previewing it, in the frontend the author name it shows correctly but the link underneath the selected author is wrong. It goes to the creator of the post author page not selected author page. Please help.
Thank you.

Thenesh
I am new to wordpress and have an idea that i am not sure how to execute.
My website is for my company, we are small and just getting started and hope to use the blog to help drive traffic to the site. We have 4 people, each of us would like to be able to write. On the site we already have a section where we share links to our personal facebook/twitter etc and we would like to also include a link to our blog posts.
So for this to work I need to be able to sort the blog posts by author and create 4 pages to hold the 4 sets of sorted posts.
Additionally I would like to include a section on our home page where posts related to the topic of our company can be displayed. So for this i would like to add a tag or category to the posts and display only the posts with relevant tags on the homepage.l
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading.
]]>I am new to Word Press and am getting lost in the myriad of options and plug ins. I need to create a website that is a multiple author catalog without the need for shopping/sales capability (client will call in to hire the musicians). The website is for a booking agency serving members of a local musicians union.
The goal is for the union office to administrate the website but the members should be able to login and update/maintain their individual pages. Each musician/band page should have the same formatting (theme) and allow for a few text areas, audio/video, and picture(s). We (admin) need to be able to data check (hopefully automatically)that the members do not post web links in the text or include personal email or phone numbers.
We will want to organize the pages according to various musical categories and have them searchable under different criteria by the prospective clients (wanting to hire members). Also, we want to automatically hide or display the individual member pages according to their current membership status (in other words- If a member has been suspended for non payment, we want their page to be hidden).
So the questions are:
Can this be accomplished without any plug-ins?
Is the Member plug-in relevant?
Please be as patronizing as possible in your answers. Even though I have coded in java, html, C+, and ASP before, it has been a long time.
Thanks in advance,
SudFunk
I’ll try to be as detailed and non-confusing as possible. But to sum it up, I’d like to make it where each has their own virtual WordPress site (custom headers, categories, sub directories, widgets, etc.), without disconnecting them or the readers from the primary site.
Here’s an example of what I mean: https://www.patheos.com/blogs/nakedpastor/
I’m not sure if they are using wordpress, but I’d like to pull something like that off.
The site functions as a blog / news / community site.
That author is one of a couple hundred, yet, his profile looks like his own (personalized header, widgets, navigation bar). It doesn’t feel like he is piggybacking the main site, but it still feels like he’s a part of it.
I want to to create a multi-author site that will have news, blogs, etc., but where the author can make their blog area / profile feel like their own. They can use their own widgets, advertise their books, other websites, etc. (like the example site).
With the amount of plugins that exist, I’m sure this is easy to do. I just don’t know where to start, or how to pull it off.
Hope this wasn’t too confusing. Any questions, please ask!
Thanks for any help you can offer!

]]>I manage a wordpress site and I want the option to manually select the author of a post when I’m logged in as the admin. I know this is possible for wordpress.com but can’t seem to find anything for www.remarpro.com. I don’t want the writers to have to log into the website to be attributed to a post – I just want to select the author from the backend before publishing. Any help here would be great!
]]>I don’t only want to separate by category.
Page Last Football Fan works as a main posting page.
I want the same function for pages The Devils Advocate and for page The Gooner
