Hueman Theme and Multi Importer (Images not showing)

I’m pretty new to wordpress, so this is probably my own issue, but if any kind person could help me solve it I would be massively grateful.

I use the Hueman theme as said above, i think this is an awesome theme. I also use an RSS feed importer called Multi Importer to bring in 2 news feeds.

The importer seems to pull the feeds and I can see them coming in and getting into both categories, Multi Importer shows it has detected images in the feeds (it shows a little image icon at the side of the article to show this) but I can not seem to get the images to show in the posts…

Auto posting does not bring new post,and i dont think the database is updating 2

I have a problem with my autopost feed and I think database feeds too, I don’t get any new feed today 14-1-2015…I have Aljazeera and some other news sites,so in that case I don’t think is from them not posting new contents…..this is the second time it has happened to me,I have change my cron jobs in cpanel last week and it was working perfectly.but today I see no new feeds,any suggestions

Thinking of Switching From RSS Multi-Import to FeedWordPress

I have been using RSS-Multiimporter and it was a fantastic plugin. The author seems to have gone on to other things and there is no longer any updates or support so I want an alternative. I have heard this might do the trick.

Are there any other former RSS-Multi Importer users here? I am curious to know if it is easy to make the switch and if it offers all the same features before I try and take the plunge. I used short code and Autopost in Multi and hope to be able to use them with this new plugin as well. Any tips or advice to make the switch and maybe avoid issues? I want this to be seamless for my website viewers so they won’t even know.

How to Disable Thumbnail Image Import

The only issues I am wondering about is all the images appearing in my Media> Library. I now have 46 pages of images in my library because of all the thumbnails that are being imported from Multi Importer. It makes it hard to find images of my own that I need to use and also I am worried about all that clutter and taking up that space.

Is there a setting somewhere that I missed or checked by mistake that I can turn off so that my posts still get the images but are not imported into my media library?

Also one other issue. I was trying to combine some short codes but it was not working properly. I went to your template page here to look at some working examples I might use but that page is blank. https://www.wprssimporter.com/templates/ Is there another template page we can look at?

[Plugin: Speed Booster Pack] A few issues I can't solve

I am having a few issues I have been unable to resolve on my own or through any threads here.

The first is when my site loads you can see the barebones site unthemed with just text for a second or two while it loads. Not a huge deal but it does make it look a lot more amateurish so wondering if I can fix that without a speed hit.

Second is a lightbox issue. I used a RSS feed plugin called Multi Importer to add some extra news stories on a few categories. It brings in a small excerpt and when you click the title it opens ip lightbox so people do not need to leave my site to read the whole article. But now the lightbox is disabled and when they click the link they leave my site completely. Here is a sample page of what I mean where this is used

The third issue is speed. I am using W3 cache and followed the guide here. I am only using Browser and Page cache. Minify, database, and object are all turned off. I am using Amazon CDN so that is left on. I also use Customizr theme. This plugin increased my mobile score but decreased my Google desktop score.

Currently I have all options selected under general settings in Speed Booster Pack. I set compression at 70 and downloaded Regenerate thumbnails and redid all of them. All 4 options under “Still need more speed” are checked.

Exclude scripts from footer and deferred are blank.

Hi Allen. I was trying to use this (great) plugin for an almost authomatic blog I’m creating. What I wanted to do is:
-import a feed with the Autopost option
-publish the resulting post after reviewing them

The feed I tried to import looks ok when scanned with Simplepie, but still…

Here’s the error:

WP Multi Importer RSS – Only showing a thumbnail

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows what I am doing wrong, whenever the feed picks up a new story it only shows the image as a thumbnail in the top left corner, rather than filling the whole box behind the except in the feature news.

Any suggestions on a fix

I want to add_action to a new post like: add_action(‘rssmi_import_feed_post’, ‘auto_featured_image’);

to set a featured_image for the post. With this option: add_action(‘the_post’, ‘auto_featured_image’); all featured_images are set, but I believe this should work with another function of this plugin. Could you help me please?

Source Link not coming thru

When using RSS Feeds we are no longer getting the Source link even though that setting is selected in Feed to Post.

Here is a link to an article being pulled via RSS, but no source link at the bottom….it used to show.
