How do I nest all of my individual articles under /blog/how-to-brush-your-teeth instead of at the root, and is there someplace I set this so that it’s correct for all new blog entries?
Thanks!
]]>I’ve just decided to make the move from .com and I’m having a bit of trouble moving my content to my new url.
The import seems to start, and a handful of my images move, but then it seems to stall, and no posts etc. move over.
Am I just being impatient? How long does it normally take?
Any advice would be gratefully received!
]]>I created a domain at www.wordpress.com and found that I wanted to switch to www.www.remarpro.com. So, I created a hosting account on Dreamhost and did the 1click install of www.remarpro.com to my domain I created previously from www.wordpress.com. When I try to log into the www.remarpro.com it merely takes me back to the wordpress.com how do I fix this?
Thanks
]]>as my username portray, i am a complete noob in WP and just starting and dont really understand WP so will appreciate your help.
my hosting company is webhostinghub
my barebones website is https://travelmolecule.com/
now it completely appear out of sync and alignment because i think i must have messed something up.
what i did was trying to change the blogpost format for WP from .com to .com/blog. my ultimate goal is that i want my .com website to show a series of menu on top, including ‘About Me’, ‘Travel Habits’, ‘Blog’, and i want to write blogs and have blog posts only appear under the ‘Blog’ menu button (.com/blog address), and not .com address.
Questions
1) Am i correct that root means .com while subdirectory means .com/blog? in WP terminology, i mean
2) I believe I need to follow the below instructions? I only understand up till step 5, and notice my website is now messed up. I have no idea how to proceed from now to get the end results i want/hope

My XML file is only 2.6MB. When I am uploading the file to www.remarpro.com I assign the authors and check the import attachments box as prompted before hitting upload. My www.remarpro.com is hosted through bluehost (not sure if that is important).

My www.remarpro.com blog is at a temporary address https://69.195.124.215/~katyandl/
Though I fixed that problem, now the problem is there is no .htaccess file for main blog and because I had thought I was moving it and so the way of going into the administrative panel and options won’t work because it is now at the wrong URL. So I either need a way to regain access to the blog or the base info to put in a new .htaccess file.
I don’t work in .htaccess so I have no idea what needs to go in the file. Thank you for your help.
