Unfortunately I didn’t yet get any response on my support-request, so I post it here:
My website is still in development mode.

I uploaded icons for different categories, but non of them appears anywhere. The map only shows the standard-icons.

The categories
Computer: if I do a mouseover, the categories toggle and the section opens. But I cannot fix it there, no chance to keep it open, only with mouseover.

Mobile: the section opens by click and stays open as wanted.

Links, once underlined, once not underlined

When you visit the homepage, the navigation is at the top in the header area. It works as it should: the link is underlined on mouseover. In the footer area, this function is simply reversed. With mousover, the underline disappears.

How to Keep Background Transparent on Mouseover Hover

Hi! I know this is probably super simple for some of you, but I can’t figure out exactly how to keep the background section of the Featured Story (see photo and page link) transparent on the mouseover/hover. I want the block behind “Featured Story: {Post Title}” to stay transparent like it is when you don’t hover the mouse/pointer over it. Currently, it turns gray on mouseover, but it shouldn’t. I’m unclear about what element I need to target and how to apply CSS to it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Colibri Main Menu: Submenu needs to unfold by clicking it, not by hovering

Dear All,

I have the problem that our university guidelines have changed insofar as they would like all digital objects such as menus to unfold only when clicked on, not when hovered on (in order to make it easier for people with certain disabilities).
For the main menu, we decided on the “Dropdown menu”, for which I could not find any option to only show the submenu when clicking on one of the first level components. It would allow for me to only show the first level components but that is not quite what I am looking for.

If there is something that I’ve missed or any Custom CSS that could help me out here, I would really appreciate it!

Play video on hover

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing good.

I am working on my own website on WordPress using the Oceanwp theme and Elementor.

I have a, quite, short video (the one that says “FAUNA” on it) with a “Poster” on my homepage and I want it to play until it ends (no looping) when someone hovers over it.
I tried a few java scripts but none of them worked. I think this can be something related to Elementor’s classes and id’s that I don’t seem to be understanding.

I have an overall poor understanding of java and it’s application, but working on it.

I hope I made my self understood and this has an easy fix.

a mouseover or a click on the question marks besides some functions don’t result in a tooltip or any other helpful action. Are they deactivated?

Mouseover color for buttons

I’m using the Sinatra theme Version: 1.1.6 and I’d like to add a mouseover color for my buttons. I’ve implemented the mouseover color for the button in my header, and now I’m looking to do the same for buttons on my pages. Is there additional CSS for this?

Blur images on mouse hover doesn`t work

Even though I flagged the blur option (gallery–>blocks), It doesn`t work.

Hi, this is a great plugin that I’ve been using for a while. A couple of questions though that have come up recently: –

– Is there a way to show the modal box on mouseover rather than click? We want to test to see if a mouseover will make the information under the “Online Stockists” button more discoverable.

– I’ve had mixed results with GDPR plugins and I’d like to do my own using a combination of geolocation and easy fancybox. I’m guessing that would need the Pro plugin so that we can detect that the box has been closed. Is there any way you have that can reset that cookie so they can see the GDPR warning again. I guess going on from that, can we reset the cookie after a given time too.

Seeking popup Plugin for text hover

when you hover your mouse over the blue text “The New York Times” (for e.g.)
you see a popup.
I want to incorporate this functionality on my website.
Can someone suggest a plugin to accomplish this functionality?

I have tried plugin text hover. The only limitation with that is that is does not allow graphics and scrolling the popup.

Hope I am posting this in the right forum. Also, this is my first web site development effort so my knowledge is rather limited.
