Grid Image Container Problem

Hi there! I was wanting to enlarge the book covers in my grids, so I increased the “BOOK GRID DEFAULT SETTINGS” in the dashboard. The covers get bigger, but they then get squished together and the text remains in the same location as though the container in which the covers are situated isn’t increasing with the size. I’ve provided the link to the page in question.

Also, the “BOOK GRID DEFAULT SETTINGS” option isn’t increasing the size of the covers on the tags grid page, like here: https://macflynn.com/books/dragons/

How can I increase the size of those covers?

I would like to suggest you add a new book info field: DOI.

Add/edit Book → Formats and editions → DOI

A DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is a unique and never-changing string assigned to a DIGITAL document, for example, an e-book or EPUB.

I would like to suggest adding “Google Books”, next to GoodReads and Reedsy:

MBM Book Page Settings → BOOK PAGE SETTINGS.

In my humble opinion, I think they are three equivalent search sources for books.

I would like to suggest adding an option to not load #mbm-book-page CSS rules from plugin (wp-content/plugins/mooberry-book-manager/css/styles.css) in:

Mooberry Book Manager Settings -> Book Page (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=mbdb_book_page_options)

In case we are interested in creating our own CSS code.

Of course, the option deactivated by default.

Set in which column show book elements

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to choose in which column to show the book elements.

for example, now in “mbm-first-column” there are cover, link1, edition, Goodreads, reedsy,…

in “mbm-second-column”, summary, details, excerpt,…

and in “mbm-third-column”, additional info.

Is it possible to move elements from one column to another?

Updating/Creating New Books Wiping/Not Writing Content in WordPress 5.1

I have discovered that creating/updating book pages isn’t writing the series and tag information to the Mooberry table (where does that info go, anyway?). I tried rolling back the Mooberry plugin and WordPress to earlier working versions, but that didn’t work.

CORRECTION: I incorrectly installed the previous WordPress version (5.0.3). Upon successfully installing that previous version I have confirmed that Mooberry Book Manager is NOT compatible with WordPress version 5.1. The writing issues are not present in 5.0.3, but they are there in 5.1.

Retailer Numbering Off

I have noticed that when I delete all the retailers of a book and replace them with new links, the numbering is off. There are two number sequences that arise:

1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7

1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

I haven’t gone higher than 7, and nor have I noticed any bugs arise from this strange phenomenon.

Series Pages Directing to blog

Whenever I click the link on the book pages to go to the series pages what is shown on the page is my blog page, though the URL is correct. This is happening on two of my sites that have Mooberry installed. The URL I provided is one of the book pages, and clicking on the series page (Maiden to the Dragon) leads to the correct URL (https://macflynn.com/series/maiden-to-the-dragon/), but what is shown on the page is my blog.

Customize Grid Margins

My question involves this line:

wherein the two spots with the word ‘variable’ dictate by inline the width and height of the individual grid boxes. Due to the most common screen size of my visitors I would like to manually adjust the width/height via the mbdb_float_grid class, but obviously I can’t just use the entire class because of different cover sizes. Is there a way to use the ID for the grids for the CSS?
