Hello Team Yoast. Hope you are well.

I have an issue with the meta description. Basically, I am using Molongui to create guest users and do not rely on WordPress’s own user/author feature. Now Ubersuggest has brought to my attention an SEO issue. It says that 42 of my pages have no meta descriptions (all these pages are Molongui generated guest authors). Molongui is saying that it is generating the meta tags such as title, description, etc but it is weird why ubersuggest is not detecting this. Furthermore, the source code for guest authors gives a warning too which Yoast generates. So for example, if you go to the guest author https://www.paradigmshift.com.pk/author/arfah-zia/ and check its source code, you will see the meta tags that I just mentioned (Molongui ones) but if you ctrl + f and type “this page does not” you will find this message

However, if you do the same for a wordpress-generated user (for example https://www.paradigmshift.com.pk/author/aleena-imran-2/), this above message does not show up. So it could be that molongui might be generating the meta tags but for some reason it is not being counted as a meta description (as cited by ubersuggest).

I just wanted to know if a proper meta description is being generated by Molongui and if so why does Yost and ubersuggest say otherwise? If it is not being generated, then what is the solution. I have asked Molongui as well and will keep you in touch.

Multiple authors not working properly

When selecting multiple authors for an article, any authors after the first author are being lumped together into one link, which leads to the second author’s profile only.

The author box also reads as “#molongui-multiauthor-link%7c%7c%7chttp%7c%7c//roar news.co.uk/author/author1%7c%7c%7chttp%7c%7c//roar news.co.uk/author/author2%7c%7c%7chttp%7c%7c//roar news.co.uk/author/author3

This link only leads to author 1’s page, however.

The listed author names also all have an “and” affixed to them, i.e. “Author 1 and Author 2 and Author 3”

I tested 5 author box plugins and the first 4 didn’t work for various reasons. The fifth was Molongui’s. It worked well enough that I upgraded to the Pro version, and then it worked even better. I did hit a snag and emailed Support. And they got back to me right away with an easy fix. Really appreciate it.

Broken author link and guest archives

Hi there!

I already submitted via the contact form on your website a couple of days ago and have yet to receive a response. I purchased the premium version, but when I click on the guest author name, the link is broken.

I’d like the author link to go to the guest author archive. If I try to type it in the link to the author manually, none of the posts come up under the guest author archive- instead it’s just their picture.

Lastly, is there a way to change the word ‘Blog’ to ‘Author Archive’
