I’m sure there must be a simple answer to this…. I want to create a link from an image in the Gallery, to another page in my web site. On some training videos I have seen that there should be a URL box to complete when editing an image in the gallery – however, that box is not appearing when I edit an image. Is this only available in the Premium version?

I tried numerous other image gallery plugins and finally settled on FooGallery. Brainless to install, insanely cool and convenient wizards (including the ability to convert my Modula gallery perfectly), and perfect amount of configuration options without adding complexity. Extremely satisfied.

Since last update of modula, cannot edit galleries

Since last update of Modula to v2.8.15 (+ Modula pro v2.7.3 + Video v1.1.4 + Slideshow v1.0.6, we cannot edit galleries => blank screen. Logs reports an error 500 :

Issues with adding videos (URL)

I have just purchased modula pro for the video integration faery. And when using a video url from bunnycdn I am getting error ………

The URL entered is malformed or no videos could be found.

I am unsure where to turn or where to start.

Any ideas for a learner of WordPress I greatly appreciate.

(ok, I have seen that I can not use my bunnycdn video link. I think self hosted, is literally in my wp gallery. Any advice on how to do this? Or alternatives.

Modula Gallery

After using this plugin everything works fine, but all images of the galleries that I have created with the Modula Gallery cannot be shown anymore. I can see the thumbnails on the page, but if I click on a thumbnail I just see the description of the image but not the image itself. How can I change this?

Hi there, we have contacted the support as we have a subscription for 5 websites (the Modula Business Package, and ever since the last update of Modula on the normal (not the pro) version after having updated 4 of our 5 sites to the latest version, we are not able to edit our pages with elementor anymore, the support that Modula has provided to us, is beyond a bad joke, even after having downgraded our php version, discussed this issue with our website developer and having contacted our hosting Company Siteground, the only thing that has become obvious is that Modula made a mistake in one of their updates and we are now suffering and actually losing money after having gone over to Modula, under a false sense of trust and having trusted that when they say its elementor friendly, that they would never make a mistake like they have made, we actually paid a lot for this package and even though they said support comes with the package, they are out of everyone whom have looked at this by far the most clueless, and definitely not in contact with the developers of this plugin. PLEASE ADVISE, unless of course you are willing to refund me in which case ill happily move over to anything else which actually works properly and which does not prevent me from having to edit any part of the site, except for when i disable the lite version of modula in which case im able to.

Modula doesn’t index gallery images in Google

I’ve been using Modula for almost a year, I’m very happy with it and it’s very functional for my galleries but a few days ago I realized that this plugin doesn’t allow Google to index the photos in the SERP.

Each image has an ALT for the images and if I go to the source of the page I correctly see the alts with their description.

At the moment if you type site:leonardopassero.it into Google and go to the images section you will see that only the images used with other plugins (such as wpbakery or smartslider) are indexed but none of those (many) images with modula.

Before opening this post I searched the web for an answer but it seems that no one has this problem (or perhaps has noticed).

Please help me, I would like to continue using modula for my galleries because it is the best, I haven’t found anything similar.

Modula Gallery Triple loading / redirecting images + staggered loading feel

Hi,

I am helping figure out why a certain WordPress website is loading images slowly and I’ve noticed that they use this plugin and it seems to be the cause for the very delayed / staggered loading of their website.

Here is a devtool network waterfall screenshot

It shows that the webpage only loads 3 images at a time ( the SAME image, but in 3 different formats ) and waits for the next one to load the next set of 3 same images…

The website is using the paid version of the plugin and uses the modula CDN.

The response times and download times are extremely long ( 1-3s PER FILE )

1. Why are the scripts redirecting for each image?

2. Why is there 3 times the same images loaded ( This also happens when you click on the image to view the full size )

3. Is it normal for the Modula CDN to take 1-3s per 300kB image?

I’m currently building a portfolio website for a client. I want to use the Modula plugin for my galleries but some of the photos don’t show up on the live site.
