One particular site not showing in ‘my site’ dropdown

Hi, I feel like I’m going mad here.
I’ve been running a multisite installation for years with 3 sites. I recently added a 4th site and I cannot get it to appear under the ‘my sites’ menu. All the support online just says to make sure that my admin user is added to the new site, which it definitely is. I’ve even tried removing my user and re-added it.
I’ve just made a 5th site called ‘test.’ and it instantly appears in the ‘my sites’ list despite having being made in the exact same way as the missing one!

I’ve also tried it on different browsers, different computers and cleared caches etc.

What am I missing here?

One site in network suddenly corrupt/missing

I have a network with 10 sites in it, and I am suddenly experiencing a strange problem with one of the sites. Unfortunately I just randomly noticed the issue so it’s hard to pinpoint when it started or what might have triggered it. I deleted two other sites from the network about a week ago and did not notice it then, so it’s possible they are related but I don’t know.

In my dropdown list of sites, the problem site has a space but the title is blank (see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/yMZeXlc)

On My Sites, it is listed with its URL, but it has moved up to the top position even though it was originally down lower, and trying to access the dashboard takes me to my main site dashboard instead (see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/vM4OxbX)

Trying to access the front end of the site gives me a database connection error.

When I click edit site, the http is missing from the URL (see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/89cYsfU) but when I add it manually and try to save it, it will not save the changes and reverts back to just :// as pictured.

Does anyone know what might have caused this issue and how to fix it?

Deleted plugins as advised…now site is gone

I received 24 error messages since midnight from jetpack and found only sporadic site availability.

Reading your forum about 500 Internal Error and the 4.7 upgrade craziness, I followed directions…about “delete plugins. yes, all of them.’ And now my site is gone from My Sites.
How do I get it back? And why is only this one site affected when my other (free) sites are not affected?

Site is still accessible from web though.

Please help i’m not exactly sure what i changed but now i am able to log into word press but then I go to an all white screen. I can look up my original code or site address at https://blog126.com/. But i can not return to my main screen or my dashboard. Its very frustrating I cant get back to any part of my site to fix my issue and when i open it with the site address above… it looks nothing like the way i had it

Missing Network Admin

I’m helping out a friend with their site.

There are several addon domains on the hosting package (7 in total). All are wordpress.

4 have been setup as multisite.

The main site doesn’t exist (maybe deleted by the last web admin) so i can’t login to to /wp-admin/network to mange the sites and i need to install a plugin on one of the multisites.

The multi site definition: define( 'MULTISITE', true ); doesn’t exist in ANY of the wp-config files either in the root folder or the 7 sub folders.

Can i upload a fresh copy of WordPress to the root folder and “pretend” to setup a network? Or is there some other way i can un-pick this mess, as it doesn’t need to be multi site.

missing site after inserting schema.org in theme functions

Hi, I just inserted schema.org script and my site went missing, even the admin pannel. I have not yet made a back up although i still have the admin pannel open in wordpress. How can I get my site up again. I only have access to the theme functions file now. as it is still open in my brwser. PLEASE HELP

Can' t access one of my sites

I logged into my deals site (daddydigzdeals) to make some changes and I made a huge mistake! Thinking I can use the same info (theme, posts, comments, etc.) on my new disney site (daddydigzdisney) I stupidly changed the WordPress url and the site url in the settings to the Disney site thinking I could always switch back. That’s where everything went wrong!

Now when I try to access the Deal site, it won’t recognize my password and makes me log into the disney worpress. Also, the daddydigzdeal site is completely jumbled when you go to it.

Any guidance I can get to restore my site and fix my miss would be greatly appreciated. I promise not to stick my foot in it again. Thanks

Hi. I downloaded wordpress to my TSO hosting. all fine. Was given my account name and pw. I uploaded my theme and put all the content on my site. It was still active this am and I could see it on claritymc.com and I could log-in at claritymc.com/wp-admin but then this afternoon – it was just gone!

WordPress is still uploaded fine to my hosting – so issue with hosting or domains. All fine.

I can’t even log into my wordpress account! I can’t log in via the login link in the hosting area – nothing! It is as if my account just vanished and I had a lot of work done on the site!

Where is it??? Any help how to retrieve it? The automatic form doesn’t work as it can’t find my account. Which is quite silly really – if I had an account I would need to find it!

I would like to replace the current blog/index page of the site (https://norest4thecollectors.x10hosting.com) by a WP type of blog. I thought I would add a new site. but when I add a new one it comes up with: Missing or invalid site address.
