Newest Contributors Added Not Appearing

I added a couple of new contributors in the last day or so, and went to publish one of their articles, but their name is not showing up in the drop down menu for some reason.

I tried refreshing the page, purging my site cache, recreating the user, and changing the user’s role from ‘contributor’ to ‘author.’ Has anyone had this issue before?

Hi, I am using an Google Alert RSS feed for “feed to post” purposes. This feed does not contain the “author” that I would like to credit in the meta data of the post archive and single post. Is there a solution to enrich this Google Alert RSS feed with these missing author details so that I can credit the author. Feedzy is absolutely a great RSS aggregator but in my Jurisdiction (the Netherlands) crediting the source author is a must. Happy to hear of any type of solution or work around …. Is there a solution in WP RSS AGG to enrich this Google Alert RSS feed with these missing author details so that I can credit the author. Currently, I am using Feedzy, and trying to get a solution from them. However if, WP RSS AGG has a “of the shelf” solution, I may consider to join WP RSS AGG instead. Can we PLEASE get a permanent solution for the structured data errors in the Anissa theme? Specifically, “missing author/updated?” So many are asking this question and there are all kinds of suggestions floating around, but for those of us who are relatively new and loathe to alter coding, it’s a bit overwhelming to think of the damage we could do with one simple slip up. Not to mention the inability to revert back should that happen. Shouldn’t it be a relatively easy “fix” to the theme? Any help to eliminate this issue for good would be most graciously appreciated. I found Errors named as Missing:updated, Missing: author and Missing: entry-title in structure data of googles Search Console.

Please help me to fix it ASAP.

Hello, since I changed my old theme for Hitmag I can’t solve the “Missing: Author” hentry error inside Google Search Console. With my old theme I was using some lines of code inside function.php to fix all hentry errors (missing title,updated,author), but when I used the same code inside Hitmag’s function page, the author’s part doesn’t work. I took a look inside all the files looking for “the_author()” call to manually fix it, but I couldn’t find it. Please, can someone help me finding a working solution to this problem? Thanks

I see also a warning Crawl-delay: 3600 in robots.txt

I’ve read that you can manually update the theme to fix the issue, but it is recommend to contact to web developer to make the modifications. Can this be updated or can someone please advise?

only for the indexed pages not for the posts.

Any idea.

I’m using the 1.45 version of the theme.

hatom errors in google webmaster tools

Hi,

I recently created a google webmaster tools account for the site above and in structured data I get a load of errors relating to the pages on the site. I’m not sure if its a theme issue but the errors relate to hatom markup: microformats.org

and each error consists of:

missing author
missing entry-title
misssing updated

Im starting at the top and trying to work out where the issue lies, so id be very grateful for your assistance.
