P.S. after some testings and although the plugin works slowly, the operations complete smoothly. Therefore i vhange my rating.
P.S.2 They have website transfer with “change ownership” that works immidiately and guess what! it doesn’t work between hosting plans and you can transfer one website per day. Restrictions so you have to renew a plan instead of buy a new cheaper one. Beware of those things before joining
]]>Website A has a lot of other pages and details that I don’t need. I only need the website structure (main page design and how that applies to the other pages). I don’t want the user database or book manager database that website A uses.
Looking at another option: Could I use the clone service to clone website A to a testing site, remove all of the unneeded parts, then migrate THAT version to website B?
How does this affect users set up on the two websites? Can I keep the users assigned to website B and not have the website A users cloned over?
The error it shows is the following: Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function MailPoet\Migrator\mb_strimwidth() in /var/www/recursos/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Migrator/Migrator.php:79 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/recursos/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Migrator/Migrator.php(35): MailPoet\Migrator\Migrator->getStatus() #1 /var/www/recursos/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Config/Activator.php(78): MailPoet\Migrator\Migrator->run() #2 /var/www/recursos/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Config/Activator.php(60): MailPoet\Config\Activator->processActivate() #3 /var/www/recursos/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Config/Initializer.php(288): MailPoet\Config\Activator->activate() #4 /var/www/recursos/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(308): MailPoet\Config\Initializer->runActivator() #5 /var/www/recursos/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(332): WP_Hook->apply_filters() #6 /var/www/recursos/wp-includes/plugin.php(517): WP_Hook->do_action() #7 /var/www/recursos/wp-admin/plugins.php(194): do_action() #8 {main} thrown in /var/www/recursos/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Migrator/Migrator.php on line 79
How can we solve it?
]]>Thank you!
]]>We have multiple issues we are experiencing:
1. Elementor -> Course Content Widget -> About Instructor?
– number of students is pulling in number of courses (also on course instructors widget)?
2. Elementor -> Course Curriculum Widget ?- shows a tab ?
– title typography does not work (e.g changing size)?
– topic styling issues (e.g. having a border create margin around background so if the background is set to be a color then there is white space around it)
?- lessons and hours data not showing (as they used to prior to 2.0)?
3. Elementor -> Course Benefits Widget?
– there is spacing at the top that is not controlled by padding/margin?
4. Elementor -> Course Review Widget?
– does not display on the front end
5. Elementor -> Course Purchase Widget
– typography styling does not work
6. Elementor -> Course Thumbnail (when using video)
– many issues with styling, none of the styling works and there are huge gaps at the top and bottom of the iframe. (CSS styling does not work either)
– is the .vp-centre css correct as the video dimensions are square rather than 16:9?
– issues are present whether the video source is Vimeo, YouTube or Embedded
7. Email notifications
– even when turned off email notifications are still sent (e.g. when a course is published/updated to admin)
8. Difficulty levels
– cannot select a different difficulty level on a course, all are set to intermediate and unable to get the dropdown to work to select a different level
9. Tutor LMS Migrator plugin
– plugin available to download from WordPress does not install (we were sent another by Themeum support)
– when courses are migrated from LearnDash all modules/lessons within a course are grouped into a single topic in Tutor LMS (ordering is lost)
– unable to move lessons from one topic to another so the course will have to be recreated
We used Tutor previously and due to bugs moved over LearnDash, but thought we would give Tutor another go now 2.0 has been released (and we hoped was stable!) as the look is fantastic. However, the bugs that made us move in the first instance are still there along with many others. We regret trying to make the change to move back.
]]>Last evening I’ve tried to migrate website from Bluehost to SiteGround. After starting website crashed, but assuming that it was related with server capacity I let ir running.
In the morning I’ve detected that WP version 5.8.3 was automatically updated.
I’ve stopped the process, but website was very unstable. With Bluehost support previous WP version was restored. I’ve turn off the automatic updates for WP Core, plugins and Themes.
Now I’ve started again SG Migrator and during “Website Migration in Progress” WP was again updated to version 5.8.3.
Is it a normal procedure for SG Migrator or I must cancel and do it again?
Thanks for your support.
