Issues After Migrating WordPress Site: Default Theme Appears Instead of My Acti

Hello,
I recently migrated my WordPress website from ebcmindset.com to vps.ebcmindset.com using Migrate Guru. While the migration process completed successfully and all my content appears to be present, I am facing an issue with the theme.

After the migration, when I visit my new site (vps.ebcmindset.com), it loads the default WordPress theme instead of the theme that was actively in use before the migration. I have checked the WordPress admin panel, and the correct theme is not activated, but rather the default theme is being used. It seems that the migration process has somehow set the default theme as the active one, despite the fact that it was not in use on the original site.

Here are the steps I’ve taken so far:

Completed the migration using Migrate Guru.
Verified that the content and database are all intact.
Checked the active theme in the WordPress admin panel (it’s not the one I was using before the migration).
Tried reactivating the correct theme, but the site still defaults to the basic WordPress theme.

Issue:

After the migration, the website loads the default WordPress theme, even though the active theme prior to migration was correctly set on the original site.
It seems like the migration tool hasn’t properly preserved the theme settings.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any solutions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Site URL changed on its own

Hey guys, quick question regarding a domain name issue I am having right now, maybe some of you went through the same problem.

I have a website called thepetsavvy.com and all its pages used to come up in SERP as https://thepetsavvy.com but for a few days now it’s coming more often as https://www.thepetsavvy.com

My google analytics picked up the change and they are asking me to associate my account with https://www.thepetsavvy.com rather than the old one. My analytics are all over the place at the moment. My site traffic tanked a lot. Semrush is showing a subdomain as a result.

Now I need to specify that it somehow coincides with a domain migration from Bluehost to Siteground which seemingly went OK. I contacted Siteground and they said everything looks OK on their end so there is nothing they can do to help.

Question:
Has anything similar happened to you?
Was its related to domain migration?
Is there any way to fix this so as to have all info under https:// only instead of having it split between https://, https://www (and even sometimes https://) ?

Migration from Local Machine to Live is messed up

I built a site on my Local Machine Test environment. When I attempted to migrate it to my Live Domain using this plugin, it messed up my site. Images were not loading and all the links were still pointing to my Localhost.
My Site is practically unusable. I then decided to wipe the Live Site, I then realized that it was automatically wiping my copy of the Site on my local machine. I guess because the links where never resolved or replaced with my Domain name. I lost everything. But luckily I had OneDrive Set up on my local machine. So I was able to restore all the deleted files from my OneDrive Recycle Bin folder.

Migration wont allow me to access admin login

I did a full restore / migration into the new hosting but now I cant login to admin dashboard. I get the error cant access this page

I have not changed the DNS so in order for you to FTP or see the new website you will need to change your Host file.

Data missing after forced migration

My hosts sold up shop and sent their clients to a new hosting service. Since then I’ve had all manner of problems.
First my account was suspended because they said the migration hadn’t taken place when it had…
Then when the site came back online I found data missing: around 4months worth of orders and blog posts.
I regularly backup my public.html files, however, when I re-uploaded the files to the site the data is still missing.
I can’t figure out where or how the data has gone.
Can anyone help with this issue?

Nonprofit Site Broken Images and widget issues

Hi, and thank you in advance for helping.

I am really new to wordpress, and working in the nonprofit field we are forced to wear many hats. Well a hat I adopted was managing the website, and we two days ago we migrating our wordpress site from an in-house server to bluehost shared hosting. With this we are now using a new domain.

The site is: www.tlpchicago.org

Anyways, in the migration process images and some widgets are not working properly. I keep getting the ? icon, or a broken image icon on the header images.

If someone can help me solve this issue that would be really great. I have tried:
-Re-uploading the header images to each page
-Using the search and replace plugin to change all the urls to the new one
-Making sure all the media files have the new url

Any help, or guidance is appreciated.

I’m very frustrated with my migration from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com. After a series of errors, the latest is the fact that none of my images displays on my posts. I’ve only noticed it today, because I logged out of wordpress.com and noticed that all my posts are referencing my wordpress.com instead of www.remarpro.com files. There are way too many posts to be doing all this manually. Is there any way that I can get all my images to attach to the correct posts? I can’t do a reimport of my blog, because there are some new content. Please help me. I’ve searched in the forums, but none of the resolutions works for me. I’m very frustrated now.

Initially pages aren't loading correctly until reload

Hi,
We’ve had a tough time with VPS.net hosting over the last 30 days with unreliability. We migrated our WordPress MU with domain mapping to a VPS cloud server with Centos 5.8, Litespeed, CloudLinux and higher versions of PHP & MySQL. We are experiencing a few issues:
-1st Issue: Mostly in the Chrome browser, but sometimes in Firefox & Safari we load a home page of one of our sites & it appears that it loads without the theme, then we reload it & it renders correctly. Almost all sites in our multi-site are affected.
A few examples:

-2nd Issue: is that images on some pages are not coming up until reload. An example would be our portfolio page: https://cmsadgroup.com/portfolio
-3rd Issue: is that on this site: https://iniav.com the the page comes up, but the slider doesn’t show up until the page is reloaded.
We have deactivated & reactivated all plugins. We were runnning wP Minify before the migration, but have since deactivated hoping that would fix the issue. We are not running W3 or WP Super Cache.
