After Upgrade to 6.0 – Blog Loop does not work

After the update to 6.0, the Blog Loop extension no longer works. I still have the setting available. But the events are no longer displayed in the frontend in the blog view.

All events are migrated. Neither before nor after migration they are displayed in the blog.

Cancelation in progress – never completes, events now unusable

I was prompted to migrate to the new storage, so I went through the process of starting it. Unfortunately, it hung without ever migrating any events (an issue which has already been reported elsewhere in this forum). So I tried to cancel the migration, but now the “Cancelation in progress” has hung without completing.

This has locked out access to the admin page, so I cannot now add or edit events.

I have tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin, but this didn’t solve the problem.

Is there any known fix for this?

Problem with upcoming event dates

I created 4 test events, each on the 1st of the month from 10/22 thru 1/23. At first, the events for 10/1/22 and 11/1/22 weren’t showing on the frontend at all. I found that by changing the start date to 11/6/22 or later, I could get it to display and then change it back. As you can see from my link, everything looks fine in List view, but in Month or Day view, the events still appear on 11/30/22, which is the date I randomly changed them to in order to get them to initially display.

WP v6.0.2, plugin v6.0.0.1, tested for theme/plugin conflicts and found none, no errors in debug log, and no caching active at server- or site-level. I’ve tried replicating this on 2 other sites (same WP/plugin versions, 1 on same server, 1 on different server), but I haven’t been able to.

Calendar Upgrade locked, will not complete

I ran the Events Calendar upgrade, and after I fixed a few data errors, it got to the upgrade step, and indicated it had migrated 17 entries, which is the correct number. But it never completed. Now, when I go to any of the Calender plugin pages in the dashboard, it will not let me enter events and states the upgrade is still in progress.

The calendar is functional for viewers, but not being able to enter or edit data is challenging.

I’ve disabled all the other plugins that touch Events Calendar, but to no effect.

Is there a way verify the upgrade completed, or had problems, and to mark it complete if not, or ???

On a single event page, if I download an ICS file, it adds all the upcoming events of the calendar to my calendar. I only want one event, not the entire calendar. This behaviour changed after 6.0 update. Is there a setting for this ?

Hey,

I tried quite a few ways to fix the error about line 50 but I am still getting it, it somehow has propagated through the theme I am using, and disabling all plugins doesn’t help.

How can I debug this one?

Unable to navigate past month

Hi,

I am using WP version 6.0.2 and The Events Calendar Version 6.0.0.1.

When I navigate to the November 2022 month page, I am unable to proceed to the next month, even tho there are events in December. The December page does exist and I can open the page by typing in the URL and navigating to past and future months starting from December. But as soon as I navigate back to November, I am unable to go forward.

I have disabled all other plugins and turned on the 2022 default WP theme to troubleshoot but I am still unable to navigate to the next month.

When we inspect the “next month” button element it has a “disabled” attribute.

Event Tickets Error took down website

We are using the Events Calendar and Event Tickets plugins.

We got the error message below and then our website went down.

Can you tell me how to fix this error?
I deactivated/activated both plugins.

Events repeating on wrong days

Since the Pro update to 6.0.0 recurring events are not displaying on the correct days. Events schedule to happen on the last Tuesday of the month are showing the same date every month (i.e. the 28th of every month rather than actually showing putting it on the correct date). Everything was working fine before the update!
