Problems after migration

Hi there,
I’ve made a manual migration from shared hosting to a vps.
But I got some issues on my website, some images doesnt load..
It seems a CSS is not loading at all (text not in good colors)

When I inspect links it also appears that server is tryin to load :
monsite.fr/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/image

If I look at upload folder image doesnt exist.

On the old host the source image is :
monsite.fr/wp-content/uploads/elementor/thumbs/image

I dont understand what goes wrong here

Plugin is broken

Not sure what happened to this plugin, it used to work great but apparently it is now broken and no one wants to fix it (Look at all the support posts with zero replies in the past few months).

After a website migration, I did a search and replace to replace the site URL throughout the database. Better Search Replace reported that there were 0 cells changed in 0 updates because it didn’t find anything to change. But if you go on the front end and inspect the HTML, the code clearly shows the database still has the URL that should of been replaced by Better Search Replace but it was not.

Plugin needs to be renamed to Used to be Better Search Replace.

Migrate new website to old domain

I am doing a website from scratch for a client. My idea is to replace the old website for this new one.

Before doing this step I came with one doubt. If I migrate the content of the old website with the content of the new one would I lose all the SEO and my Google ranking?

Hi, we’re about to launch a new site based on a clone of the old site. The problem is that several months have passed and new transactions are missing from the soon-to-be-public website.

I have a feeling this is going to call for database surgery, but how can we migrate the new transactions to the new site? As of now there are 68 missing records.

Moving Content via MySQL

Hello everyone, my site was hacked and the backups deleted, hostgator cannot retrieve my backups because they said it included too many nodes?

I’m wondering if all my content can be moved to a new install when I install the same theme and stuff.

Moving WordPress to a new server

I have a large blog 2.9.2 on my old server
I installed a new version 2.9.2 on a new server.
I backed up my blog on the old server in a .sql file
I imported the .sql file from the old server to the new wp database.
I copied ‘all’ the WordPress website folders and files from the old server to the new server.
I updated the wp-config.php on the new server with the proper settings.
When I run WordPress on the new server after importing the .sql file, and all the web files from the old server, WordPress begins a new install and wipes out all the posts in the newly imported wp-posts table.
What am I doing wrongly? Can you offer a step by step solution to migrate the data?
