After migration not working blog

Hello,

my WP-Blog was working as a Website for some years without problems.

After being in hospital for several months my Webhoster Strat

o was deleting the whole webspace and they say it can not be restored anymore.

So I was uploading my backup copy on the new webspace I received.

Changing the DB and User name in wp-config.php.

But, no matter what I am doing, my old Blog can not be reactivated.

After some “working” (trying this and that with no clue) I got the Welcome-Screen of WP saying that I can now install WP (although it was already installed, uploading all my files by FileZilla to the new Webspace).

So I have filled in the Username and the Password at the appearing WP installation screen.

And now, when I log in, it shows me that I have a new WP Blog …

The old adress of my WP Blog was “wasserspiele.emotion-experts.com”. But now this adress is showing to my second WP Blog at the Webhoster 1und1.de (which is an old Blog missing all the several sites I have created in the last years at the Strato-Webhosting Blog I now wanted to reactivate).

Does anybody know what I can do to reactivate my Blog?

What filed do I have to show you so you can help me?

Transfer blog back to wordpress from Tracky

We moved my blog about 3 months ago to Tracky because we were blocked from the backend so I couldn’t install any new themes or plugins and my blog was super slow.

Things aren’s any better with Tracky, so I am here asking for assistance because I want to migrate back to WordPress. Prior to moving over from WP, Tracky promised to migrate ALL our (WordPress) blog posts from years past, but have yet to accomplish this.
-Are the old WP blog posts able to be recovered?
-We would actually want to transfer over to wordpress.com because it is more user-friendly. Is this feasible without the compromise of losing our posts?

Hi,

I have migrated my wp.com blog to my wp.org blog with some dificulties. I have had to split up the XML file in parts. All posts have been uploaded and images as well but they are not connected.

All my posts are with images, how can I fix this?

I am in the process of setting up a new website using the self-hosted version of WordPress. The WordPress software has already been installed on my server, and I have been investigating the new site, but have done nothing yet beyond creating an “Under Construction” post. I’ve done nothing with even the plugins that were provided, like JetPack and Askimet, and that’s because I have an old blog on WordPress.com that I would like to migrate to the new www.remarpro.com site. Should I design the new site first and then upload the old blog, or upload the old blog first and then design the site? Thanks

I have a reasonably busy blog with a few hundred subscribers and followers on wordpress.com

I know how to export and import my posts etc but is there a way to keep my subscribers when I start posting on the new blog?

I’m going from www.huntingenglish.wordpress.com to www.huntingenglish.com/

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hello there. My question’s fairly simple, but with the GREAT luck I have, it seems things never work out the way they’re supposed to -_-” I’m trying to export my blog (https://www.clicheanime.wordpress.com) to a www.remarpro.com site on a free web hosting service: Freehostia. My new URL will be https://finallyanime.freehostia.com

My problem is the following: I made the export file like I’m supposed to from my WP.com site. It’s in XML & I use the import function in WP.org, but it just goes to an empty screen when I finish uploading…and there are no new posts…tags…categories…comments…nothing. Can someone please help me? And I checked the file size, it’s only about 839 kilobites I believe. Definitely not 2 megs.
