I’m trying to set the meteor slider as background to a certain div.

However, I can’t get things working.
Any suggestions?

Problems with Meteor Slider

Greetings,

I am currently having problems with ajaxify and Meteor Slider. Ajaxify works good with everthing except with that particular plugin. Whenever I load a section where I have a slideshow working it doesn’t charge. I have to refresh the webpage to make it work. I’ve tryed to use code related to NivoSlider and Royal but it doesn’t work. I really don’t know what to do. Thank you.

Hello everybody,

I am new to this forum and to wordpress.

I was looking for a slider and found the meteor slider which works perfectly showin on a iphone or android device.

But on a normal browser, the pictures and the buttons are not centered but to the left.
I tried Google to find out what to do…but no success.
I am new to CSS-Stylesheets and so on.

So what do you need so you might help me? Please remember I am a absolute beginner.

Disappearing slider, no explanation

My client seems to have done something to the website which has made the slider completely disappear from the front page. They say it was an ‘update’? The site is www.citizensuk.org. I don’t know where to start to reinstate it. Would I have to reinstall the slider into plugins?

How to increase the font size for the title?

Hi
I have successfully installed meteor slider and used the example css found at to add a title and semi-transparent background to each slide. It works great. Thank you.

However, is it possible to:
1) Increase the title font size (e.g. font-size:16px) and where would I place the code in order to do this?

2) Place the title and semi-transparent background elsewhere on the slide other than the bottom, e.g. on the top?

The Events Calendar PRO stops my slider from displaying images

I bought the premium version of this plugin a few weeks ago and it clashed with the slider I use for this site www.citizensuk.org. The slider stops displaying at all if I activate both the premium and the normal Events Calendar plugin. I’ve been trying to contact the makers to get access to my account but haven’t got any response.

Is there any chance the designers, if they respond to support requests on here, could show what I can do to make it stop clashing? I want to use the plugin but am unable to right now because of this problem.
