For some reason, the meta title on our pages still shows the “company name” at the end. I have removed this on your settings, however the issue still persists. Thoughts?
Here is the website:

Thank you
<page title> – <site title>
However, every charity has a page on our site to. For these pages, we would like to have the default meta-title:
Donate to <page title> via <site title>
We can do this manually of course on the charity pages, but we have 100s of charities, so if we ever want to make a change to the format, it will be very time consuming. Is there a way to create 2 different default meta-titles, and apply 1 to our regular pages and the other to our charity pages?
thanks,
Rik
It’s around 26 to 30 characters average and in pixel its 250px to 270px average in all screen sizes, desktop, tab, and mobile.
The title used to show 55-65 characters and in pixel 570 to 600px approx.
What’s wrong with my site.
2. How to remove Site Title in Page Title?
So… If I type ”Trip in Touch on Google” that’s what appears: the main meta title (home page) is in English, while all the other titles below are in Italian. Why is it so?
Just for your information, I purchased Yoast Premium from a third party reseller and I am using Polylang as plugin for the translated pages. I started having this issue after I purchased Yoast Premium so maybe that’s the reason?
Looking forward to see your response!
Thanks

Can anyone help me with changing my meta title and description? If you look up my site on Google, “Katie’s Portfolio” comes up twice but I only want the first one.
And also my personal details come up in the description when I want to change it to a sentence about the portfolio.
I’ve tried it in Yoast and did this to all the boxes but no luck: https://imgur.com/a/DMznszF
I’m also trying to hide my portfolio from coming up altogether in search but it still comes up when I type the name into Google.
Here’s what it does at the moment when I search my site: https://imgur.com/a/1igRrhi
Anyone know what to do?
Thanks

I’ve tried a few plugins that say they change the meta description but no luck with that, and the Yoast plugin has no free option to change it.

I am having troubles with my metadata in home, using YOAST.
Before YOAST, I used SEOPACK. I only edited 1 post with SEOPACK, and then the HOME (only home) started getting metas from that post, not their own.
I desactivated SEOpack and everything’s ok, general metadata from WP. So I unsitalled SEOpack
Then I installed YOAST. HOME keeps taking metadata from THE LAST POST in my blog (I checked that it was this way). Even I edited manually in config.
So, I see this in my code, in HOME page:

The jazz spotlight | Aryane Moon Arts

And this is what appears in the POST where this info is located:
