Message Field rendering as Text Input Field for Non Admins

When using either the ACF Frontend Form or New Post Form block in Elementor, if a message block is added, the message block will render as an ACF text field instead of rendering out the message written when the form was created.

This error has been seen on 3.3.35, 3.3.33, 3.3.32, 3.3.9, 3.2.21, 3.2.16, 3.2.9 using WP Rollback.

It seems to be working correctly on 3.2.7.

Could you help me figure out why the message field isn’t rendering correctly?

BUGG ON FORMINATOR ADDITIONAL SETTING

Hi there,

I juts installed and setup Forminator plugin (free plan). Then I noticed there is a bugg on Forminator > Edit Form > User Registration > Additional Settings > Enable Hide the form if a user is already logged in > Message (optional)

So bugg is:

When I insert link, bold and italic the message then click update, the message is not change on my website. The message just plain. No inserted link, bold and italic

The problem happend on login dan register form.

Hello! I need your help. In Active Campaing lists I have the message field with the type “Text area” but when I trying to link the client’s message with the message field in the form. Does not appear. Only the message field appears in other places such as name, email, (those fields with text type). But in those that I put type Text Area it does not appear to link it. No To/From/Message Field When Selected Amount

Hi there,

I installed the free version to test out your plugin with the intention on buying it once I tested it. I set up the gift card to be exactly what I need, only the To/From/Message areas do not appear when I select the amount.

Secondly, I can’t even add the gift card to my cart. I do have it “hidden” so my customers can’t find it, but even when it was visible in the shop these functions didn’t work.

I’ve tried the checkbox fix in the settings but it doesn’t work. All of my plugins are up to date so I’m not sure where to go next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Email field and message not visible

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the Holler Box plugin! I am just starting to use it, but I think it will be great if I can get it working.

I am using the free version and having an issue with the Faux Live Chat box. The screenshots in the link are numbered in accordance with this sequence of events.

1. When the box appears, there is no field for the email. There is only the message field.
2-3. When the visitor enters the message in the message field, and clicks the envelope icon the message field is redisplayed empty.
4. Then the email field is displayed above it with the Send button.
5. The confirmation message is displayed after Send is clicked.

My questions:
1. Has this behavior been observed by other users?
2. If not, can you think of anything in my system that could cause this type of behavior?
3. Is there a patch that you could create quickly to make the email field and the message be visible?

Include message in reservation email

Is it possible to include any message that is added by a person making a reservation, to the email that is received by the booking manager?
I know that it can be viewed on the bookings page but it would be beneficial for it to be included in the email if possible.

The Cookie Policy Message field just allows about 300 charcters, but I need more for my english and german text (with translateX Code). Is it possible to get more chars?

Contact form email received with no message

I’ve setup all of the options the way I want them and the plugin is sending the contact form email. But for some strange reason, it doesn’t include the message field information in the email.

Do you know of a fix for this?
