upgrade wp killed galleries and submenu

My provider Web-oké upgraded wp from 5.8.3 to 5.9
My site www.zanggroep-eige-wies-roggel.nl did not work properly anymore
1. My galleries stopped working
2. My hamburger ( phone) menu button did not unfold anymore
3. My submenu items ( under media menu item) did not work anymore

The site is build with Elementor Pro and was fine till jan 26

I restored the site from a Wp migrate Back-up but the errors remained
Finally a downgrade of WordPress to 5.8.3 made it all work again
I hope I don’t have to rebuild the site from scratch after another WP upgrade…

I have been blocking this plugin for updates for a very long time, but since decided to test the update in my staging site to see if the shortcoder updates have fixed the issues that I have been seeing. Here is the issue.
* v4.6 works perfectly for my Bible page, but when updating to v5 and higher (v5.3.1), the menu no longer brings up the results. I used to not know why this is the case until today. And here is what I am seeing, that needs fixed with your plugin. If I shorten the length of my shortcode, then it works, but at the current length, it does not work. This shortcode does not work, [sc name=”old-testament-messages-chapters-menu”] (https://1drv.ms/t/s!AtzxGqXDzsbBifgCvvkE7v1x-H1E2A?e=FzaEN4), which is the entire Old Testament Chapters Menu structure, but limiting it to just the first 10 chapters of Genesis and Exodus with this shortcode, it works, [sc name=”old_testament_messages_chapters_menu_modified”] (https://1drv.ms/t/s!AtzxGqXDzsbBifgDIDaZ4aAkEY5K3g?e=qgvZVc). The link I sent you is to my Bible page that is using the v4.6 plugin, and everything works. However, I’ve given you all that you need, in order to reproduce the issue on your end and then hopefully come out with a fix. I do not want to break my Bible page by updating to v5.3.1 until this issue is resolved. Thanks.

I displayed the menu instead of the hamburder menu icon. Now, when I opened up the submenus are opening on the right direction. Something like the navbar-right in Bootstrap.

Conditional Menu Bug

I am using conditional menus for members who are or are not logged in. If I log out, I see the proper logged out choices. If I log In I see the proper logged in choices. However, if I then go to My Home Page, the menu improperly switches back to the logged-out choices until I reload the page.

Bug when registering menu

Hello there,

I am running a website (wp 4.61 + classsipress 3.54). This morning I wanted to change something in the menu, and when I updated my menu I got this message :

Warning: strtolower() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/reseauacu/www/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 1870.
This same message is repeated 12 times.

the menu works though….

Don’t know when that problem began, it has been a while since I had changed the menu, and since it still works, I did not notice…

Thank you for creating the plugin Quick Menu.

However, I think I ran into a bug.

When I add more than one page to a drop down menu, the subsequent pages appear on the sub menu AND the main menu.

When I remove the page from the menu through Quick Menu, it’s removed from the sub menu BUT NOT the main menu.

Is this a known bug?

Hi!

When I am making my menu in my wordpress, it automaticly adds an # between the URL and then the Link doesn’t work

For example:

I want to have a link in my menu to the ‘my account’ section.

What I want: https://www.justind.nl/my-account
What happens: https://www.justind.nl/#my-account

Check it out yourself (https://justind.nl). I think this is a very weird bug. I tried to add the pages in 2 different ways:

1. Adding a page the the menu

2. Adding a custom link to the menu

Both of them don’t work. If someone could help me out you’ll be awesome!

Adding Pages to the Main Nav Menu Doesn't Work

Hi,

Suddenly, after I tried to add a page to the main nav menu, after clicking on the ‘save’ button, half of the pages from the menu just disappeared, and the box ‘Primary Navigation Menu’ was unchecked.

I tried re-add those pages, but they simply disappear after i click on ‘save’.

I made the 1 min video, showing my screen. Please have a look and help how to fix this bug.
