Prorated Memberships w/ Approvals & Custom Profiles

I?need to create a membership site where the members sign up and the amount they get charged changes depending on when they sign up. It’s $130/year and goes down 1/12 per month. All memberships renew May 1st. So each month after May the total cost goes down 1/12.? ?

I was thinking I can create 12 unique subscriptions, with specific costs and use custom PHP to show them depending on the month.?

THE PROBLEM: if they buy in December, and pay around $60, how do I get them to renew in May for $130? Can I manually change their subscription and initiate a charge, can it be automatic? I’d like to gate the memberships as well so they are “pending” until we give full approval.

Last, I need custom profile attributes for members. Is there a way to set that up when they signup AND have them access their profile to update?

Mini-Cart Block Showing Incorrect Discount Value

I’m presently using WooCommerce along with the Memberships add-on. My site is using a Block Theme as well as the Mini Cart Block.

The one membership rule we have implemented adds a 20% discount to all products. In the individual product pages, listing pages, and full cart/checkout pages, this discount amount is correctly calculated in the “discounted price” value.

However, in the Mini Cart, it’s giving almost but not quite twice the amount it should–for instance, a product with a regular price of $99.95 (and thus a properly-discounted price of $79.96) shows instead a discounted price in the cart of $63.97.

To check that this wasn’t potentially a theme issue, I switched over to Twenty Twenty Four, added a Mini Cart Block icon to the header, and tested…. the issue persisted.

Subscriptions vs Memberships?

With the recent updates, I now see “members”, under their user info, have “Memberships” and “subscriptions”. Please help clarify the difference, and how the two interact, because I believe it’s causing issues in our system.

To note, we use the terms “subscription” and “subscribers”, even prior to the update. Just so I hopefully don’t sound like I’m confusing terms. We also use an org based subscription structure, seems to be another pain point.

We just had another subscriber renew – she renewed under a level that is/was not her current one. While working through how to best correct this, I see that she now has an error message and missing data.

Under “memberships”, it shows her old level, but for the subscription column, still under the “memberships” heading, it shows no subscription found.

Under the “subscriptions” heading, it shows her “new” level, but under the level description is says “membership ended”. ???

Through some more clicking around through the tables, I eventually end up at the “Orders” page, and click on the live link in the Transaction ID column, where i get the information you can see in the screenshot, with the error “This user does not have the membership level that this subscription is for”.

Which do I fix? How do I reconcile all of this, both here and database wide?

Creating a social network using Peepso, Paid Memberships Pro, and WooCommerce.

I want to restrict user activity based on membership level. For example we have 3 memberships levels:

Red – user can create a profile, but they cannot communicate with other members (i.e. no messaging) and they cannot upload content.
White – user can create a profile and communicate with other members, become friends with others, etc. BUT cannot upload content.
Blue – Full access. User can do all of the above and upload media (images and video)

But PMP Pro does not appear to support this out of the box, so what are my options? How can I accomplish this?
