I am the host of a radio show, and I was looking for a way to limit on air audience participation to paying customers. Better Messages provided this capacity in a remarkably cost effective and easy to use way. It does this without forfeiting audio quality, as one might guess had they not tried it out.

But I did try it out, for free, which is a very nice feature of the premium version. You get to try before you buy, and since the plugin is so simple to use, it won’t take you more than the three free days they give you to figure out if it suits your purposes.

But what really makes Better Messages stand out is their support. If you send them an email you will get a prompt response that is in my experience helpful and friendly. Not canned copypasta either, a competent programmer will really respond to what you are saying. Two Sites – Shared Users – Do I go Multisite

I am working on a site where I have membership content on both sites. I want users to be able to upgrade their membership to add access to the second site.

Example
https://site1.mydomain.com (main site)
https://site2.mydomain.com (secondary site)

I will likely be using WooCommerce Membership or Subscriptions for the sites.

I want users to be able to join the membership to just site1 or just site2 but have the option to bundle/upgrade their membership to have access to both.

I have them as two separate sites because the themes and content is very different and target different markets.

In this scenario, should I set up a multisite or would a plugin be sufficient using two separate installs of WordPress.

Is WordPress right for my use case?

I need to build a website for our local club and I would to assess of WordPress is right for my use case. We need pages and blog and I know I can do this with WP easily. If I remember correctly, there’s also out of the box support for different use roles as handful of club members will have full access to cms but most of them should be able to write new posts but shouldn’t be able to edit existing pages, posts or settings. WordPress supports all of this out of the box, right?

Second function of website will be simple tracking of people’s achievements. Club members do certain activities during the year and they would like to have a record of what they did. I’m talking about simple form with title, description etc. of activity, nothing fancy or automatic. Access to this part of website should be granted to people within certain role and recorded activities should be “public” but visible only to those people. I imagine this part of website would be on dashboard, below other menus but I’m open to suggestions.

Is WordPress right decision or should I choose something else? Thank you!

Memberpress and EM

Quick question – I am looking at getting Memberpress to manage a new membership site as part of my wordpress site. I already use EM with the Pro add-on (which I need to renew if I am going to stay with EM).

Does EM play nicely with Memberpress? In particular, will I be able to restrict booking to just those who are paying site members.

Hi All,
I’m trying to find a membership plugin or theme that will allow the following:

I need to allow paid members to be able to post job listings (in a specific industry).

Non-members would be able to search the job listings and reply.

I want to restrict access to being able to post the listings only to those who are members.

I haven’t yet seen a theme or plugin that does exactly this but do you know of any? Or would a combination of theme/plugins help me accomplish this? Thanks for any help in pointing me in the right direction.

2 WordPress Domains with membership – 1 domain to process payments

Hi… I have 2 WordPress websites. I would like memberships for both but payments are processed through 1 site.
Wondering if Membership 2 is able to accept new members on another domain? Along with new members on the same domain?
Each domain has different levels of membership.

PM Pro Roles

I am building a membership site with the free version of Paid Memberships Pro and added PM Pro Roles to assign roles to membership levels. The plugin is active, but I don’t see a way to assign roles to membership levels. Do I need to be using the paid version of Paid Membership Pro? If, so, is there a free plugin that will allow me to do the same thing? I want to be able to control the type of content my paying members can upload.
