Used to work, reset, but not working any more

I was very excited to find this plugin for my site. It worked for a few days, then I had a major problem with the site in messing around with HTML I know nothing about, which disabled all of my widgets. The site is now back to normal, I just had to deactivate and reactivate all of my plugins. I did the same with the Meetup widget, deactivate, activate, deactivate, and it would not work. I eventually deleted and reinstalled it, reset my API key with Meetup, input the API key, OAuth key and secret into the General settings, but still nothing. The list of events is not showing, only the title of the plugin, which I type into the title field.

Anybody have any idea what could be going on? (In the meanwhile I have created an RSVP button to have as a link while I fix this issue, but I would really like to get the list of Meetups on there).

MEETUP EVENTS ( Display on BLOG page)

Hi.
Hopefully I have explained this correctly…

I would like to know if it is possible to have the meetup events display on my blog page ( showing more details than the widget display) with the ability to click on the event and it directs you to the full page view (or post)…

For instance: currently when I click on an event from the widget (which shows calendar date and topic) I am able to go to a full page view on my website of that specific meetup event.

I would like to know if it is possible to display the events on my blog page. So when you go to the main blog page it displays the meetup events (past and present). Each meetup event would populate a single blog post, highlighting the date, topic and more details about the event .. you can click on that blog and are directed to a full page post for each event.

Does not work after 01/2014 update

I’ve been around and around with this plugin for the last several days and have sites I have to make for clients and simply don’t have more hours to spend on why this plugin no longer works. It was a great simple plugin that worked before the 2014 update. Now it simply doesn’t work no matter what I do. You essentially have to do so much coding yourself that it makes no sense to use it any more. I might as well just go to EventBrite and copy and paste an event calendar onto a site page or look for another plugin that works.

It worked great before the update and now simply links back to the homepage, no matter what I do. It’s been at least several days since the last update that broke the plugin and I need a calendar that works, so it’s time to move on since this one does not work.

Update Broke Plugin

I just updated today 12/30/2013 and am sorry I did. The update completely stopped it from working and now I have to find another plugin. I updated the meetup group URL on each page of the settings and it literally did nothing but link to a blank page. Is there any way to revert back to the previous version that did work? Can anyone help with this?

[Plugin: Meetup Widgets] Did Not Work

This plugin requires 3 key codes and simply did not work after several attempts. The person making the plugin seemed nice and sincere but the plugin itself simply never worked for me no matter what I did. After entering all 3 codes, the plugin did not display the information correctly and just didn’t work correctly. I tried several times, used other plugins that all worked fine, but this one just was incomplete.

So, unless it’s updated, which it does not appear to be, I won’t be trying it out again because it simply did nto work for me.
