problems uploading media with version 4.5

I have had consistent problems uploading photos to my blog since the update to version 4.5. I get an HTTP error message, which necessitates me having to try again and again until I can finally upload the image. This was not a problem before the update.

All of my plugins are up to date, as I always update them immediately.

I’ve seen a lot of other reports about this same problem.

Everything else is working well, but this problem is annoying, to say the least.

Just want to let you know it’s happening to a lot of us.

Every morning for the last year, I upload an image and audio files to support my daily post. This morning, the uploaded audio file was tinny, scratchy and incomplete; in a year, I’ve never had that problem. The image file was illegible/unviewable, i.e., an ‘image’ showed up, but it was just a blob of colors in symmetric shapes. I spent the morning on the phone with my host, SiteGround. They couldn’t figure it out and told me to reinstall a backup from when it worked. I did and I still can’t successfully upload media. I have another site and it works today with no problems. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated. I do NOT receive an error message, just incomplete uploads.

Problems uploading images

I’ve never had a problem uploading images until today. Now when I try, an error occurs that usually says “HTTP error” or sometimes says” An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.” The only reason I can think of is that I updated a couple of the plugins earlier today. However, I tried deactivating all the plugins and the problem still persisted. I’ve tried several different images both jpeg and png in various sizes (some only around 200 kb).

3.3 media upload problems

Media upload not longer working after upgrade to 3.3.

I have seen a lot of post about this but nothing that has helped me.

Here is the error I am getting

MY permissions for my upload folder is 755…

Anyone have any ideas? I am pulling my hair out over here… And for some reason they keep CLOSING topics although the problem is NOT resolved…

Hi:

Trying to upload images (large) to the Media section/folder via the web interface. I am getting the following error:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 71303168) (tried to allocate 17572 bytes) in /home/zukester/public_html/store2/wp-admin/includes/image.php on line 162

The images are 13-49mb

This is lines 162 and 161 above it in image.php.

Any ideas?
