Also, these next questions are probably related to wptexturize. How do I make “code” tags stop being replaced by back-ticks? How do make “smart-quotes” become regular quotes (literally, not just appearance)? How can I add/specify tags and shortcodes that should not be texturized?
By the way, my website is DCJTech.info and I use WordPress 4.3

And I get no errors in my browser console, but for some reason, LaTeX code on my page, specifically, $\int\limits_{n=0}^{\infty}$, doesn’t render as prettyprinted math, rather just as the source code.
I’ve tried some of the bona fide WP plugins that have similar functionality, but most of the render math as a PNG rather than type, and the remainder have nonstandard notations.
Are there any additional steps to take? Is WordPress suppressing MathJax somehow?

]]>This version addresses one problem and improves the control over the two new features released in the last version: 1.0.5
One problem resolved in this version:
Relative addressing to reach key directories failed when admin utilities are executed. The problem showed up as a misleading error message in comment ‘display view’ during an admin session. The problem is resolved in this version.
Control of features was enhanced as well:
a) Deactivation of auto-write access,
b) Deactivation of math equations within comments.
See the plugin’s Faq page for more details:

It uses Pascal Brachet’s phpmathpublisher library. It’s an update to Matteo Bertini’s WordPress plugin called PHP Math Publisher.

]]>I don’t mind setting *most* of this in the theme… At least
the <?xml …> tags and so forth probably ought to be there,
I’d prefer to know how bloginfo derives html_type and where
the php header is generated so I could write a plugin to make that configurable from the admin interface… Any info is appreciated, otherwise I’ll keep digging through the code to find the best place to modify this…
Yes, I know this will break IE. If you know of a cleaner, easier way to take a WP theme and modify it (and WP) to display MathML and SVG within posts, I’d be grateful.
I appreciate any help anyone can offer.
Thanks much,
John
My site is valid xhml 1.1 + mathml + svg, but I cannt edit any math in Wp editor tool
