I’ve been searching for a self hosted LMS solution for a while. After comparing it to Lifter LMS, Masteriyo and Tutor LMS felt we had to go with MasterStudy. The interface takes a bit to get used to but the functionality, the way it looks and the ease to get it set up with it’s demo content makes it a great option for anyone looking to make their own self hosted LMS website. The price is also another factor with it being much cheaper for a unlimited lifetime license than the other options mentioned.

Hello, I just installed the free version of your plugin to test before buying the pro version. But as soon as I activate it, I have the error message that appears on my admin and on my site:
“Warning: Undefined array key 0 in /home/clients/67d19adda5dad0c85e7dddaee771f05d/sites/soscollegeadmission.com/wp-content/plugins/masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system/_core/lms/classes/user.php on line 613” and this repeated 7 times. My environment is as follows:
WordPress 6.6.2 with the Divi theme
PHP version: 8.1

In the WordPress site health tool I have an alert message “The REST API is one of the ways for WordPress or other applications to communicate with the server. For example, the editor screen relies on it to display and save your publications.

The REST API did not correctly process the context query parameter.”

Urgent: 404 Error in Course Editor and Course Access Issues

Hello,

I’m writing to report a critical issue affecting our website, Orelvine.com, after a recent redesign.

Issue:

Course Editor 404 Error: Instructors encounter a 404 error page when attempting to “view” a course within the course editor.
Course Access Problems: Students are unable to access course content (curriculum) when clicking “continue” or “start course” on their course overview page. The page simply reloads.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

Verified and saved permalinks within the WordPress dashboard.
Deactivated all non-essential plugins to isolate potential conflicts.

System Information:

MasterStudy LMS: (3.3.26)
MasterStudy LMS Pro: (4.3.4)
MasterStudy LMS Theme: (1.1.14, child: 1.1.10)

Important Note:

The offline version of the website, used during the redesign process, functions perfectly without these errors. This suggests the issue might be related to the migration process or the server.

Request:

We would greatly appreciate your urgent assistance in diagnosing and resolving these critical issues. Our instructors and students are currently unable to properly manage and access courses.

In the several item issues I have had, they have effectively addressed the issues. The internet is not a perfect place, but with the help of Lisa Williams I have been able to navigate the issues effectively!

Number of students in a course is wrong

Hi, I created a new course and suddenly I have 24 students in that course although in reality there is no students. I even enter in the course from the admin wordpress page and it says 0 students but in the frontend of the course it says 24 students. I need the students numbers in the frontend to be the real one please.

Cart & Checkout Functionality Breaking with WP Bakery

Hello,

I’m facing a functionality issue with my website, only when I enable WP Bakery. To check this, I first deactivated all plugins except Masterstudy and re-enabled all plugins one by one. Right after I enabled WP Bakery, the Cart and Checkout functionality broke completely.

In my case breaking of functionality is the following:
1. Unable to add coupons
2. Unable to update quantity
3. Changing country does not update WooCommerce shipping methods I have setup
4. Unable to remove products from cart

All basic and essential functionality of the Cart and Checkout pages are fully broken. Please advise on what to do here.
