Hidden sections are unfolded for a short time when the page is loaded.
This creates a layout shift that can be very large and unattractive depending on the length of the content.
Is there a way to counteract this?
Best regards
]]>However, when I do this the class=”expandall” button I’m using to expand all my collaps-o-matic headings is not working. Any suggestions on how to get the expand all button to work?
Thank you!
]]>My problem is as following, when I open a page, reload or click on a link the collapse’s content automatically opens for a second. I would like it stops doing that and instead only opens when i actually clicks on the arrow…And when the content is open it stay during page reload or when i clic on an another link of the page…
thank for your answer
]]>This is really strange, but when I load the page for the first time, the content shows expanded. If I refresh, then it shows collapsed.
Any idea what I can do?
Many thanks!
Laura
Currently, if COM plugin is activated then the twitter button is not displayed,
but if deactivated then the social locker works perfectly

]]>Sadly I have a slight problem: It does not load collapsed.
The expand/collapse buttons work perfectly but it always shows expanded by default.

]]>Collapse-o-matic is the closest accordion plugin I’ve found to accomodate my needs: invisible accordion (noarrow), trigger by ID and href tag, and an autoscroll to content function. Unfortunately none of them seem to work properly and I’m not sure if it’s due to theme incompatibility (is there any known theme incompatibility? Xtheme, Avada, Divi etc?)
To clarify: I have set up an invisible accordion using the ‘noarrow’ attribute. I have added auto scroll with the respective attribute, and I have assigned an ID with a corresponding href url tag to an image that functions as a button.
These are the issues:
1: When the page loads occasionally the accordion appears open for a moment before disappearing.
2: When I click the image to trigger the href ID, the accordion opens but the content inside – a set of WP tiles displaying articles – is not displayed properly. Instead of showing multiple tiles the full page width, it only shows one tile to the left side with the rest not being properly expanded or revealed. I have noticed that it very rarely seems to work correctly, and randomly so, maybe 1 in 10-15 tries.
3: The trigger causes the page to jump down further than the accordion content, actually sitting about 10 pixels lower than the content’s top edge. No matter which of the attributes given in the collapse-o-matic guide I try, it’s the same every time and always leaps to the wrong position.
4: Finally, the image serving as a button to open the accordion will not collapse the accordion on second click. I don’t know why as I can’t see anything wrong with my code.
I like the idea of this plugin and it seems to me to be the most malleable of all the options, but I need it to be steady.
I hope you can help out.
]]>My second question is the arrow isn’t on the same height as the title.
How can I adjust this so this is evenly aligned?
Thanks in advance,

]]>I have used this plugin for two panels on one page, but when I open this page, these panels are standard ‘open’, and I want them to be closed on start (the whole idea of the plugin I believe:)
What can I do to adjust this?
Thanks!
