I have all the map APIs set up already.
]]>All the other locations that I have on the site are available except for one.
It is a relatively new place (1.5 years).
I have checked it is on Google. I have changed the name to exactly as it is displayed on Google. I have changed the country to reset co-ordinates.
It’s driving me mad and happens frequently, on different locations. What can I do about this? Many thanks
]]>Locations that were added a few weeks ago continue to display correctly. I think that means the javascript map API credentials must be correct and working. But I can’t add any new locations.
When I check the database I see that the latitude and longitude are not set for the new location, but do exist for the old ones. That suggests a geocoding failure (yet I know geocoding works on this site, in CiviCRM). However, I have manually added the lat and long to the new location using phpMyAdmin and yet I still see “Map unavailable”, which is strange because I can see no other difference between old locations that still work and the new location that doesn’t.

Memberstravel.com ‘all events’ and single events pages do not display maps.
Carefully went thru Event Manager Google Maps set-up instructions.
Set up Google Cloud account and furnished valid payment information
Confirmed ownership of site via DNS TXT record and html file.
Issued API key and enabled the following APIs on it:
(note that it acknowledges Javascript API (5th item down) has been hit a few times)

Tested API independently with Postmanā¦ working OK.
Turned all APIs off and back on at Google since this has worked for a previous party here having similar problems.
‘Map Unavailable’ always appears on every single event page. I used the [locations_map] shortcode on the /events/ listings page (links to individual events on that page) and a map does appear, however no events are on the map, but instead displays an area of the Pacific E of Papua New Guinea.
The src on the /events/ page for the map iframe is set to mem/erstravel.com/events/about:blank (no /events/about page exists in the file system for the site).
Actual address data used in the events was obtained from Google maps in the first place, so it should be good.
Any other items I should be checking?
