The Unsubscribe | Manage Subscription links at the bottom do not work. They result in a 404 error. This happens in the edit e-mail preview and in the e-mail that is sent to new subscribers.
However, the Previews in the Settings all show the right page.
We deleted the links from the e-mail and used the MailPoet links in the Block Editor to re-insert them.
That still didn’t work.
How can we repair this?
]]>i create long time ago a custom form with a test field. now i have this test field in my “manage subscription” form and i don’t know how it comes in. i want to adjust the complete page for manage subscription and translate some elements to german. can i do this with the form builder from mailpoet in the gutenberg editor and save it as shortcode? how can i use this form? the mailpoet help page does not have the answers i need.
thx, torsten
]]>MailPoet 3 has a default Manage Subscription page and the preview in MailPoet->settings works well (and refers to https://brettspielhelden-dresden.de/?mailpoet_page=subscriptions&mailpoet_router&endpoint=subscription&action=manage&data=ey<removed>).
Trying to use this default page (via designer which uses the link [link:subscription_manage_url]) results nevertheless in an invalid link:
https://brettspielhelden-dresden.de/?p=43&mailpoet_router&endpoint=subscription&action=manage&data=ey<removed>
I converted from MailPoet 2 to 3 and deactivated the old plugin. All plugins are up-to-date and I tried the health mode and deactivated all other plugin with the same result. Any idea?
]]>I am having a question related to the manage subscription page.
To have a more flexible form layout of the manage subscription page, and to enable me to receive a notification e-mail when someone changes their subscription information, I would like to implement the form using Gravity forms.
To do this I would like to be able to determine the subscribers e-mail, firstname and lastname. I have been digging in you API and code, but cannot seem to find any function calls that I can use for this purpose.
Is it possible to retrieve the e-mail, firstname and lastname in php when the user visits the manage subscription page, using the manage subscription link ([link:subscription_manage_url]) in a newsletter?
Best,
Simon
A detail, but I think you may want to be aware of it:
On the Manage Subscription page you get a message after making a change “Your preferences have been saved.”. This message is fixed; it cannot be translated into a different language.
]]>I’m try using the shortcode to let my subscribers doing ther list-selection – although my subscribers are not WP-Users. So, when filling the list selction and clicking ?save“, an WP-Dialog appears telling something like ?You must be logged in for back-end access.“.
So far … but when a subscriber can subscribe without beeing a WP-User, I expect that he can manage his subscription without being a WP-User.
What can I do to let a non-WP-User-subscriber manage his lists? (And also the other fields…)
Thank you!
