Hello,
Sendgrid removing authentication with username and password on Nov 18.
I am using Mailpoet2 which is using the sendgrid integration with username and password.
I stuck with v2 because the Mailpoet3 not supports RTL language.
What solution can you suggest?
I assume that there are a lot of people using Sendgrid integration.
When do you plan to support RTL in Mailpoet3

MailPoet2, unsubscribe undo not working

Hi, I have just created a child theme because I noticed the unsubscribe-undo did not work. I have probably lost a number of subscribers who thought they had been able to undo their subscription which turned out not to work. I have found the page explaining how to customize the ‘sorry to see you go’-page and I followed your instructions to the letter. I have copied-pasted the code onto the bottom of the functions.php file and added the shortcode into the page using the shortcode block of WordPress.
The shortcode does not appear as a shortcode but as an ordinary text and it does not link to anything. I am at a loss what to do next, as it is important I get this working correctly. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Mailpoet2 crashes on block-editor.php

Hi,
I’m adding a new newsletter using Mailpoet2 that I used in the last 2 years without issues.
Today, I cloned a previous newsletter (to keep my format and so on).
When I try to insert a wordpress article, I get a popup with the following error:

“Fatal error: Call to a member function is_block_editor() on null in /home/fmanclos/public_html/wp-content/plugins/edit-flow/modules/custom-status/compat/block-editor.php on line 16”

Any hint?
I’m working with WordPress 5.0.3 (Writers theme).

Is MailPoet2 still safe and reliable? For how long?

Hello,

After sadly discovering that MailPoet3 doesn’t offer basic stats for small free accounts – like seeing which recipients never open messages, an important feature to keep mailing lists clean – I’m tempted to go back to MailPoet2, which I haven’t yet deleted from my WP installation.

I have a small mailing list, under 300 at the moment, I really don’t want to start paying for a sending service. Yet I still want a reliable & efficient one.

Since MailPoet2 is no longer being upgraded, for how long can safely continue using this version?

Or can anyone recommend another sending service for such a small mailing list?

It’s such a shame, I really like MailPoet. Taking such an important feature away from small account users is a real let down.

Hello,

After hapilly using MailPoet for a few years, given the pressure to switch to MailPoet3, I recently made a first attempt. Every went fine. But I am quite disappointed to see there is no longer any (free) way to see which recipients open, click or never open messages. I mostly found it very useful to check, every now and then, which recipients never opened my messages, allowing me to remove them from my mailing list. Is there any other free way to do this with MailPoet3? I have small mailing list, under 300 names, I really don’t want to start paying for this service.

Security Issues? Automatic unknown subscribers

We are MailPoet 2 users who are seeing continual unknown registrants (all from the same domain). We delete them, and they get re-added automatically.

Is it possible there’s some sort of security issue with this plugin?
