Hi,
I need to set up a mailing list system for my client. He need to send emails to people subscribed to his newsletter (a paid one). At the moment, he is not interested in online payments and he manually adds and removes subscribers.

As a default, I thought to Mailchimp and integrate it to WordPress, but he has a small~ish amount of subscribers: an average of 150 subscribers.

So maybe Mailchimp is too complicated and I would provide him a better service by using just WP and a plugin to email all users?
In case, there’s a plugin you would suggest for this?

Mail poet is a great tool for any WordPress admin and so easy to use. Support team are great too on any questions. Definitely recommend.

Mailing list / newsletter

I need to set up a few mailing lists for a customer.

His needs are:
– very low count of subscribers (250~300)
– possibility to have multiple newsletters, from different addresses (i.e. [email protected], [email protected], etc)
– mailing lists integration to wordpress accounts: as a user is created, its email address should be automatically added to all newsletters, also, it would be useful to be able to add/remove users from the mailing lists from WP dashboard.

I was looking at Mailchimp, but it is possibly overcomplex for our needs?

No need to be free service.

Mailchimp lists not updating after I clear cache

To begin, let me say I’m not a techie, so bear that in mind.

At the bottom of this page (and others) on my site, I have an Easy Form offering three different subscriber lists people can join. However, “My Poetry Studio” no longer exists, though it still appears in the list. I’ve deleted that group in MailChimp. I’ve also added a new group, “The Daily Boost.” It does NOT appear in the list.

Everything is accurate in MailChimp. On my site, I’ve tried clearing the Easy Form cache in the two ways recommended. I’ve also cleared my Site Ground cache. I’ve rebooted my computer. But the Easy Form list settings do not update.

My API is connected.

What should I try next? Thanks for any help you can offer.

A great plugin to start and grow your list. Finally a Newsletter company that does not penalise your with higher fees when your list gets bigger. Integrates well with WP and has very good documentation and help pages. Response from customer service was helpful, quick and effective. They looked at my problem and sent a tailored response, not a canned response as many CS do. Good instructions to make it GDPR compliant as well and their servers are EU based, which was important to me. I have one wish though: more visually appealing ready-made templates available (think Flowdesk), it would have made my start a bit easier. Other than that, perfect for my needs.

When migrating from MailPoet 2 to 3, I saw that some of my lists were gone.
Is there any way to find them? access them?

Error when subscriber tried to sign up to second mailing list

Hi mailpoet support forum,

I am using bloom and mailpoet to get people to subscribe to my newsletter.

I have created a second mailing list for an offer. I want people to sign up to it.

This is causing an error for me though. If someone is already subscribed to the newsletter then they are unable to subscribe to be eligible for the offer.

Is this normal? How can I work around this?

Configure SMTP is a staple of setting up a useful WordPress website, I would call it “a household name” for WP installations (if there’s any such thing as household names in this area).

Export subscribers including lists

I have about 25 lists and a few thousand subscribers, which can be on one or more lists. I would like to export these subscribers to CSV, including the lists they are on. The plugin export function only exports the user data and not the lists they are on. How can I achieve this export I want? The only workaround I can think of is exporting 25 lists separately, add a column which list it is and then combining all exports. Which would be a pain to do.

I’m very pleased with the MailPoet plug-in and their Mailing service. I’m extremely pleased with their responsive support. I use the plug-in on two sites to manage mailing lists and send out newsletters for two non-profit organizations. Their service keeps my lists clean and ensures that the mail goes through. It’s easy to construct emails, subscription forms, and so on. But the most impressive has been the technical support. I had a few problems setting things up and the support team did an excellent job solving them.
