I have recently amended my web form on Madmimi (similar to MailChimp but less features) for my WordPress site to include 2 options for subsriber lists. Since then, my form appears with errors. See my website. I’ve always inserted it in the Widgets section. As either a shortcode, or embed (embed does not work), or using the function to add a Madmimi form.

I am having issues in embedding my webform into WordPress. Hope someone can help me.

Details:
Current version of WP: 5.8.1
I use Generate Press theme.
And Elementor Pro for site building.
For webform/email marketing I use Mad Mimi (iframe embed code)

The webform used to be at the footer under the heading : Claim your Free Report. But, now it’s gone – I suspect after I updated my WP and everything. So now it uses the ‘blocks’ format.

When I go into Customize, and go to Footer to add the embed code, it is not working.
I have used a few options: ‘Custom HTML’, Code, Shortcode and no luck.
Wondering what I’m doing wrong?
I am only pasting the iframe embed code…

If anyone can help me here, I’d be very grateful!
I noticed the whitelist of what you can embed…so maybe that’s it. But surely, there’s an alternative option to embed a webform?

I use Madmimi for email marketing and to embed the sign-up form (as a side pop up tab), they have code for a “Side Tab Embed Code”. That is: to paste above the closing body tag of a website.

This works with normal websites, but I have no idea where to past the code in WP and particularly Customizr theme. I am working with the Child theme…

So far, I tried to paste code in Appearance-Customiser-Widget-Footer Widget.
Which it half-worked.That is, the tab appeared, but the pop ended up popping up right at the bottom of the website, obviously because it’s a Footer Widget. I would like this pop-up webform tab to appear throughout the whole site, at the very least the front page and shop page.

Is there other solution?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Firt the plugin couldn’t add user. So, i changed the API key as recommended and this was cleared. But when registering the confirmation e-mail is not sent and the registered e-mails don’t show up in madmimi’s special lead list.

I use the Madmimi plugin for my webseite and I have a pre-checked field during checkout that forces new users to subscribe to newsletter.
This behaviour is a law infringement in germany and I urgently need this checkbox unticked by default!
Changing the setting on my madmimi account under Webform/advanced does not alter this. What can I do?
