WP Content Copy Protection doesn’t block Copy (Cmd+C) and View Source (Cmd+U) keyboard shortcuts on Firefox on Mac OS X 10.9.4. This defeats the whole purpose of the plugin. Can you please fix this?

MAxc OS 10.7.5 issues viewing WordPress login.php?

Hello,

My client is having issues accessing her WordPress dashboard login page. I upgraded it two weeks ago and all seems well, except for this new issue.

Their MacBook Pro laptop running OS 10.7.5 and Safari 6.0.3 can’t access the login page. They can’t access it with Firefox either. They seem to be getting a white page and timing out (i.e., no login fields).

I can’t replicate the issue on Mac or PC, although I’m running Mac OS 10.6.8 running Safari 5.1.9, which is older.

Anybody heard of this issue? Or have any ideas what I might do to correct it?

CANNOT UPLOAD IMAGES from computer.
(from library an url is working o.k)

I’ve Installed version 2.9.2 on a server with PHP 5.3.2
Uploading from computer is not possible. The funny part is that it’s working properly on a window machine but not on my MAC OSX 10.6.3

I’ve also installed WordPress 2.9.2 on a server with PHP 5.2.13. Where everything is working fine!!

How can i solve this nasty problem?

I am working on Mac OSX with Snow Leopard.

I’m trying to insert an image into my post. I’ve uploaded my .m4a file to the media section. I inserted it into my post, but it will only insert a link to the video, not the actual video. How can I insert the actual video into my post?

I have a local install of WordPress and run it with XAMPP. I do this so that I can make major changes to my website offline. But when I try modifying the style sheet I get a message saying that I must make the file writable before saving the changes. I find the entry confusing and useless to help me solve this problem. I can make changes to the style sheet directly using my text editor, why can’t I save changes through wordpress? More importantly, how and where do I change the file permissions for wordpress?

“Write Post” Page Layout Messed Up in Safari

I’m a Mac user who would like to employ Safari to post to my blog, for a variety of reasons, but the layout of the ‘Write Post’ admin page in WordPress is messed up.

The title and body text boxes show up in the right column under the widgets for Post Slug, Categories, etc. I don’t know if it functions, but I don’t want to try writing in a box that’s about 1.5 inches wide. I can stretch the box, but it stays in the right column, instead of in the middle. The header and footer of the page look the way they should. I reviewed my plugins, thinking maybe one of those was monkeying with the layout, but I can’t find any likely suspects.

I have Googled the tar out of this issue, and searched the WordPress forums. The closest I get to any hope is people who say it’s a Safari problem with the beta (v. 3.0.4). BTW, I’m using Leopard (Mac OS 10.5).

Oddly enough, WordPress has a great plugin for posting from my iPhone, and the layout is perfect, but writing paragraphs of stuff with my thumbs is not my preferred method of data entry.

Missing features in MacOSX?

I’m trying to write for a blog currently using WordPress 2.2.1- and certain features are missing compared to my WindowsXP cohorts. Namely the option to submit posts, and the option to upload files. Likewise, whenever I save a draft, no one else can see it- essentially making anything I write useless. Currently using Mac OSX 10.4.10, Firefox 2.0.0.6
