Replace Faulty Lugada Theme With ?????

I’ve been having trouble upgrading a paid plug in due to supposed issues with the Lugada Theme. Apparently the theme is causing some custom header bugs and I need to replace my theme with something almost identical if possible. I don’t want to have to redesign my entire site. Is there a theme that is very similar or does anyone think Lugada will be updated for wp 4.0 anytime soon?

These are the errors I’m seeing in my upgraded plug in (Per the plug in designer):

Notice: add_custom_image_header is deprecated since version 3.4! Use add_theme_support( ‘custom-header’, $args ) instead.

Notice: has_cap was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 2.0! Usage of user levels by plugins and themes is deprecated. Use roles and capabilities instead.

“The first one is the one I’m most interested in. I don’t use the add_custom_image_header anywhere in plugin code. It looks like there is still something trying to load a custom header and its using an older piece of code. That could explain why the previous version of the plugin works. With the latest update, I replaced a lot of the deprecated code with the newest version. That could have caused incompatibility with old code.

I’m leaning toward this being a theme issue since it’s referencing a custom header.”

Responsive menu not appearing

I’m having real problems with the responsive menu on a Lugada v1.4 site I’m making for a car club – I can’t get it to work. It worked once, but now the main manu disappears as it should but the responsive “Menu (Dropdown)” menu won’t appear.

Here’s some info about the site:

It’s at https://www.artisan18.co.uk/ and I’m using a child theme.

I kept backups of any files that I changed and I’ve tried replacing the contents of my style.css, header.php and some other files from the originals, but none of them make any difference, so I re-uploaded my own modified versions.

I’ve checked my html/php and css against the Lugada demo and I can’t see any differences that could affect the responsive menu.

I’ve run out of options now – does anyone have any ideas?

ALSO, I want the same summaries to be displayed – instead of the ENTIRE post – when someone does a search (for example, here is a search on my blog for the word “help”: https://www.scriptherapy.net/?s=help).

I’ve tried going to Settings > Reading >
Front page displays : Your latest posts
For each article in a feed, show : Summary

But still, the display doesn’t change. So I’m thinking it must be something specified within the theme. But I don’t know where to look.

Why aren’t my share buttons showing up on my posts? When you go to the home page (www.scriptherapy.net) and scroll to the bottom of the post, there are no share buttons. But if you click on the header of the specific post (or go to www.scriptherapy.net/ptsd/), the share buttons are there as they should be.

Anyone know what could be causing this?

Changes in style do not update

Hi, this is what happens:

i make changes to my styles.css, locally. they update, work and look nice.

when i try to mak the exact same changes on my online site, the do not update, do not show, nothing. as if they were not working…

specificly i tried changing the widget title color and font size, and the slider size and position.
